eastern corner of Section No. 2163 aforesaid; and thence by a
road being the continuation of the road running between Sec-

Kowai Road District.

All that area in the Provincial District of Canterbury,
bounded towards the North and East by the Waipara Road
District, hereinbefore described; thence towards the East by
the ocean; thence towards the South by the right bank of the
Ashley River; and thence towards the West generally by the
Ashley Road District, hereinbefore described, to the place of
commencement.

Mandeville and Rangiora Road District.

All that area in the Provincial District of Canterbury,
bounded towards the North by the Ashley and the Kowai Road
Districts, hereinbefore described; thence towards the East by
the ocean to the mouth of the Waimakariri River; thence
towards the South-west and South by a line along the middle
of that river to the Borough of Kaiapoi; thence towards the
West and South-west by the said Borough of Kaiapoi to its
north-western corner at the north branch of the Waimakariri
River aforesaid; thence by the north branch of that river;
thence again towards the South-west by a line along the middle
of the Rangiora Main Drain, the Oxford and Kaiapoi Road,
and of the Oxford and Rangiora Road; and thence towards
the West by a right line due north from Trig. Station C30,
Rolleston Survey District, to the Ashley Road District afore-
said, the place of commencement: excepting from the above-
described area the Borough of Rangiora.

Eyreton Road District.

All that area in the Provincial District of Canterbury,
bounded towards the North-east by the Mandeville and Rangiora
Road District, hereinbefore described; thence towards the
South-east and again towards the North-east by the Borough
of Kaiapoi; thence towards the South-east and South by a line
along the middle of the Waimakariri River; and thence
towards the West by a right line due north from Trig.
Station C30, Rolleston Survey District, to the Mandeville and
Rangiora Road District aforesaid, the place of commencement.

Cust Road District.

All that area in the Provincial District of Canterbury,
bounded towards the North by the Ashley Road District,
hereinbefore described; thence towards the East by the Mande-
ville and Rangiora and the Eyreton Road Districts, hereinbefore
described; thence towards the South by a line being the con-
tinuation easterly of the northern side of a road forming the
southern boundary of Section No. 4425, Mairaki Survey Dis-
trict; thence by that road and its continuation westerly to the
south-western corner of Section No. 4123; thence by Sections
Nos. 4484 and 4525; thence again towards the East by said
Section No. 4525 to the Oxford and Ohoka Road; thence again
towards the South by that road; thence towards the South-
west by the Oxford Tramroad; and thence towards the
North-west by a road fronting Section No. 15467, Mairaki
Survey District aforesaid, and by that road to the north-west
corner of Section No. 13684, aforesaid survey district; thence
by a right line to the north-west corner of Section No. 9791;
thence by a right line in the direction of Trig. Station 16, left
bank of the Ashley River, Mairaki Survey District aforesaid, to
the Ashley Road District aforesaid, the place of commence-
ment.

West Eyreton Road District.

All that area in the Provincial District of Canterbury,
bounded towards the North by the Cust Road District, herein-
before described; thence towards the East by the Eyreton Road
District, hereinbefore described; thence towards the South by
a line along the middle of the Waimakariri River; and thence
towards the West and North-west by a line being the produc-
tion of a road forming the south-eastern boundary of Section
No. 32083, Oxford Survey District; thence to and by that
section to its north-eastern corner; thence by a right line to
Trig. Station 48, Mairaki Survey District; thence towards the
North-east by a road running by that trig. station to its
intersection by the north-western boundary-line of Section No.
33451, Mairaki Survey District aforesaid, produced; thence again
towards the North-west by that production to, and thence by,
the western boundary of the last-mentioned section and the
western boundary-lines of Sections Nos. 33342, 30310, and
34754 to the north-western corner of the last-mentioned section;
thence by a right line to the south-western corner of Section
No. 15260, Mairaki Survey District aforesaid; thence by the
western boundary-line of that section and the western boundary-
lines of Sections Nos. 13681 and 13682 to the north-western
corner of the latter section; thence across the River Eyre to
the south-eastern corner of Section No. 18588; thence by that
section to its north-eastern corner; thence by a right line to
the south-eastern corner of Section No. 23164, Mairaki Survey
District aforesaid; thence by that section and Sections Nos.
19574, 23243, and 4643 to the Cust Road District aforesaid,
the place of commencement.

Oxford Road District.

All that area in the Provincial District of Canterbury,
bounded towards the North-east, East, and North by the
Waipara and the Ashley Road Districts, hereinbefore described;
thence towards the South-east by the Cust and the West
Eyreton Road Districts, hereinbefore described; thence towards
the South-west and West by a line along the middle of the
Waimakariri River; thence again towards the North-east by
a line formerly known as the northern boundary of Run 270;
and thence towards the North-west by the summit of the
Puketirake Range and the summit of the range leading to
Ashley Head, to the Waipara Road District aforesaid, the
place of commencement.

SELWYN COUNTY.

Avon Road District.

All that area in the Provincial District of Canterbury
bounded towards the North-west and North by a line along
the middle of the Waimakariri River, from a point at which the
western side of Treleaven's Road produced intersects it, to the
ocean; thence towards the East by the ocean; thence towards
the South-west by the Estuary of Avon and Heathcote; thence
again towards the South-west and South-east by the River Avon
to the Borough of Christchurch; thence towards the West by the
said Borough of Christchurch and the Borough of St. Albans;
thence again towards the South-west and South-east by the
said Borough of St. Albans to its westernmost corner; thence
again towards the South-west across a road and by the south-
western boundary-lines of Sections Nos. 135 and 151, Christ-
church Survey District; thence towards the North-west by the
north-western boundary-line of said Section No. 151 and of
Reserve No. 64 to the Harewood Road by Papanui; thence
again towards the North-east by a line along the middle of that
road to the Great North Road; thence again towards the
North-west by a line along the middle of that road to Tre-
leaven's Road aforesaid; and thence again towards the South-
west by a line along the middle of the said Treleaven's Road
and the western side of that road produced to the middle of the
Waimakariri River aforesaid, the place of commencement.

Riccarton Road District.

All that area in the Provincial District of Canterbury,
bounded towards the North-west by a line along the middle of
the Waimakariri River; thence towards the North-east, South-
east, and again towards the North-east by the Avon Road
District, hereinbefore described, the Borough of St. Albans,
the Borough of Christchurch, and the Borough of Sydenham
respectively to the Lincoln Road; thence by a line along the
middle of that road to Archer's Bridge; thence towards the
South-west by a line along the middle of the Lincoln and
Riccarton Junction Road, the Great South Road, and the
Harewood Road by Riccarton; and thence towards the West
by a line along the middle of the Prebbleton and Kaiapoi Junc-
tion Road, and the eastern side of that road produced to the
middle of the Waimakariri River aforesaid, the place of com-
mencement.

Halswell Road District.

All that area in the Provincial District of Canterbury,
bounded towards the North-west by the south side of
the Canal Reserve, from the Halswell River to the Heath-
cote River, and by the said Heathcote River to the
Colombo South Road; thence towards the East by a
line along the middle of the said Colombo South Road and
Dyer's Pass Road to the ridge of the Port Hills; thence
towards the South-east and again towards the East by the
ridge of the Port Hills to the north-east corner of Rural Section
No. 1060; thence towards the South by the northern boundaries
of Sections Nos. 1060, 1452, and 1267 to the north-west corner
of the latter section; thence by the western boundary of Section
No. 1267, the northern and western boundaries of Section No.
1268, and the northern boundaries of Sections Nos. 1046,
18810, 13595, 13631, and 895 to the north-west corner of the
latter section; thence by the western boundary thereof to
a point opposite to the middle of the Road and Drain Reserve
separating Sections Nos. 13589 and 3700; thence across the
road and by a line along the middle of the said reserve to the
River Halswell; and thence towards the West and North-west
by the River Halswell to the Canal Reserve aforesaid, the
place of commencement.

Heathcote Road District.

All that area in the Provincial District of Canterbury,
bounded towards the North by the Avon Road District, here-
inbefore described; thence towards the East and North-east.
