Wairau Road District.
All that area in the Provincial District of Marlborough,
bounded towards the North and East by the Onamalutu Creek,
from the Wairau River to the south-west corner of Section
No. 106, Onamalutu Survey District; thence towards the North-
east by Section No. 106 aforesaid and Section No. 107, afore-
said survey district; thence by a right line to the nearest point
on the summit of the watershed between the Onamalutu and
the Kaituna Valleys; thence by that watershed to the summit
of the dividing range between the Pelorus and Wairau Valleys;
thence again towards the North by that summit to the boundary
line between the Provincial Districts of Marlborough and
Nelson; thence towards the North-west and South-west by
that boundary-line to Barefell Pass; thence towards the South-
east by the Awatere Road District, hereinbefore described, to
the Taylor River, at the base of the hill called the Maori;
thence towards the North-east and East by the Omaka Road
District, hereinafter described, and the Borough of Blenheim to
the north-eastern corner of Section No. part 2 of 8, Cloudy Bay
Survey District; thence again towards the North by Sections
Nos. 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, and 19, aforesaid survey district, and
the southern boundary-line of the last-mentioned section pro-
duced to the south-eastern corner of Section No. 89, Cloudy
Bay Survey District aforesaid; thence again towards the East
by the eastern boundary-line of Section No. 89 aforesaid to the
north-eastern corner of that section; thence again towards the
North by the northern boundary-line of said Section No. 89, by
that boundary-line produced across the Omaka River, and by the
northern boundary-lines of Sections Nos. 91 and 131, Cloudy
Bay Survey District aforesaid, to a point in line with the
eastern boundary-line of Section No. 157, Onamalutu Survey
District; thence again towards the East by that boundary-line
and its production to the north-east corner of Section No. 35,
Block I., Onamalutu Survey District aforesaid; thence again
towards the North-east by a right line to the mouth of the
Onamalutu Creek, the place of commencement.
Wairau Valley Subdivision.
Bounded towards the South-west, North-west, North, and
North-east by the south-western, north-western, northern, and
north-eastern boundary-lines of the Wairau Road District,
hereinbefore described, from Barefell Pass to the confluence of
the Onamalutu Creek with the Wairau River; thence by the
north-eastern boundary-line of the Wairau Road District afore-
said to the south bank of the said Wairau River; thence towards
the South and South-east by the south bank of that river to
the confluence of the Waihopai and the Wairau Rivers; thence
by the said Waihopai River to its source; thence again towards
the North and towards the East by the summit of the dividing
range between the Waihopai and Acheron Valleys; and thence
towards the South-east by the Awatere Road District, herein-
before described, to Barefell Pass, the place of commencement.
Waihopai Subdivision.
Bounded towards the North-west and North by the Wairau
River, from its confluence with the Waihopai River to the north-
eastern boundary-line of the Wairau Road District, hereinbefore
described; thence towards the East and again towards the
North by the eastern and northern boundary-lines of the
Wairau Road District aforesaid to the Fairhall River; thence
towards the South-east generally by that river to its source;
thence by a leading spur to the dividing range between the
Wairau and the Awatere Valleys; thence by the Awatere Road
District, hereinbefore described; thence towards the South-
west by the Wairau Valley Subdivision, hereinbefore described,
to the source of the Waihopai River; and thence towards the
North-west by the said Waihopai River to the Wairau River,
the place of commencement.
Fairhall Subdivision.
Bounded towards the North, East, and North-east by the
northern, eastern, and north-eastern boundary-lines of the
Wairau Road District, hereinbefore described, from the Fair-
hall River to the confluence of a branch of the Taylor River
with the Taylor River, at the base of the hill called the Maori;
thence towards the South-east and South by the Awatere Road
District, hereinbefore described; and thence towards the North-
west by the Waihopai Subdivision, hereinbefore described,
to the source of the Fairhall River aforesaid; and thence by
that river to the northern boundary-line of the Wairau Road
District aforesaid, the place of commencement.
Spring Creek Road District.
All that area in the Provincial District of Marlborough,
bounded towards the North-west, North, and North-east by the
Wairau River, from its confluence with the Opawa River to
a point in line with the south-eastern boundary-line of Section
No. 32, Cloudy Bay Survey District; thence towards the South-
east by a road fronting the said Section No. 32 and Sections Nos.
31 and 30, said survey district, to the southernmost corner of the
last-mentioned section; thence towards the South-west by a road
between Sections Nos. 30 and 29, Cloudy Bay Survey District
aforesaid, to the northern corner of the latter section; thence
again towards the South-east by the north-western boundary-
line of said Section No. 29 to Section No. 33; thence by the
boundary-line between Sections Nos. 33 and 29 aforesaid to
the Opawa River aforesaid; thence again towards the South-
west and towards the South-east by a line along the middle
of that river to the western corner of Section No. 37, aforesaid
survey district; thence by a line along the middle of the new
channel of the Opawa River aforesaid to the south-western
corner of Section No. 85, aforesaid survey district; thence
towards the South by a line along the middle of the old channel
of the Opawa River aforesaid to the Wairau River, the place
of commencement.
Omaka Road District.
All that area in the Provincial District of Marlborough,
bounded towards the North, North-east, and North-west by the
Spring Creek Road District, hereinbefore described, from the
confluence of the Wairau and the Opawa Rivers to the eastern-
most corner of Section No. 32, Cloudy Bay Survey District;
thence by a right line across the said Wairau River in continua-
tion of the south-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 32 afore-
said; thence again towards the North-east by the north bank
of the last-mentioned river to its mouth; thence by the ocean to
the mouth of the Awatere River; thence towards the South-east
and South-west by the Awatere Road District, hereinbefore
described, to the confluence of a tributary of the Taylor River
with the Taylor River, at the base of the hill called the Maori;
thence again towards the South-west and towards the West by
the eastern side of the Taylor Pass Road to its junction with
the road between Sections Nos. 28 and 48, Taylor Pass Survey
District; thence again towards the North by Section No. part 4
of 28; thence again towards the West by a road fronting the
last-mentioned section, and Sections Nos. part 1 of 28 and part
3 of 28, aforesaid survey district; thence across a road and by
Sections Nos. part 1 of 8 and part 2 of 8 to the north-eastern
corner of the latter section; thence towards the South and West
generally by the Wairau Road District, hereinbefore described,
to the confluence of the Wairau and the Opawa Rivers, the
place of commencement: excepting from the above-described
area the Borough of Blenheim.
Renwick Subdivision.
Bounded towards the North and North-east by the Spring
Creek Road District, hereinbefore described, from the conflu-
ence of the Wairau and the Opawa Rivers to the north-eastern
corner of Section No. 50, Cloudy Bay Survey District; thence
towards the South, East, and South-east by the Borough of
Blenheim to the north-western corner of Section No. 6, aforesaid
survey district; thence towards the South and West generally
by the Wairau Road District, hereinbefore described, to the
confluence of the Wairau and the Opawa Rivers, the place of
commencement.
Opawa Subdivision.
Bounded towards the North-west by the Spring Creek Road
District, hereinbefore described, from the Borough of Blenheim
to the easternmost corner of Section No. 32, Cloudy Bay Survey
District; thence by a right line across the Wairau River,
in continuation of the south-eastern boundary-line of that
section; thence towards the North-east by the north bank
of the said Wairau River to its mouth; thence by the
ocean to the mouth of the Awatere River; thence towards
the South-east and South-west by the Awatere Road Dis-
trict, hereinbefore described, to the confluence of a tributary of
the Taylor River with the Taylor River, at the base of the hill
called the Maori; thence again towards the South-west and
towards the West by the eastern side of the Taylor Pass Road
to its junction with the road between Sections Nos. 28 and 48,
Taylor Pass Survey District; thence towards the North by
Section No. part 4 of 28; thence again towards the West by a
road fronting the last-mentioned section and Section Nos. part
1 of 28 and part 3 of 28, aforesaid survey district; and thence
towards the North and West generally by the Borough of Blen-
heim aforesaid to the place of commencement.
Picton Road District.
All that area in the Provincial District of Marlborough,
bounded towards the South-west and South by the north bank
of the Wairau River, from its mouth to the Waikakaho Stream;
thence towards the South-west by the said Waikakaho Stream
to its source; thence towards the North-west by the summit
of the dividing range between the Kaituna and Mahaki-
pawa and Waitohi Valleys to a line bearing N. 60Β° W.
to the deep-water landing-place at the Grove; thence
towards the South-west by that line; thence towards the North
generally by the waters of Queen Charlotte Sound to Karaka
Point; thence towards the East and South-east by the eastern
boundary-lines of the Waikawa Native Reserve to the summit of
the watershed between Queen Charlotte Sound and Port Under-
wood and Cloudy Bay, and by that summit to a line bearing
S. 45Β° E. to the southernmost point of White's Bay; thence
towards the North-east by that line to the southernmost point
of White's Bay aforesaid; thence again towards the East and
North-east by Cloudy Bay to the mouth of the Wairau River,
