SECOND SCHEDULE.

RANGIAOHIA HIGHWAY DISTRICT.

COMMENCING at a point on the centre of the road
at the north-western angle of Allotment No. 300A of
the Parish of Ngaroto. Bounded towards the North
by the centre of that road, which also forms the
northern boundaries of Allotments Nos. 300, 295,
285, 284, 283, and 282, to the centre of the road
which traverses the last-named lot; thence by the
centre of the last-described road and by part of the
southern boundary of Allotment No. 282 aforesaid
to the margin of Rotomanuka; thence Easterly by
part of the margin of that lake as far as the north-
eastern boundary of Allotment No. 250, and by that
boundary produced to the centre of the road which
forms its south-eastern boundary; thence Northerly
by the centre of the last-mentioned road to the termi-
nation of a right line, being the production in a
westerly direction of the south-western boundary of
Allotment No. 244 of the Parish of Ngaroto aforesaid;
thence by that line, by the south-western boundary
of Allotment No. 244 aforesaid, the south-western
boundary of Allotment No. 237, the crossing of a
road 100 links wide, the south-western boundaries of
Allotments Nos. 221 and 206, the crossing of another
road of width aforesaid, and the south-western
boundary of Allotment No. 170 to the south-eastern
boundary of the last-named lot; towards the North-
east generally by the south-eastern boundaries of
Allotments Nos. 171, 172, 173, 174, 175, 176, 177,
178, 179, 180, and 181, all of the Parish of Ngaroto
aforesaid, to the south-eastern angle of the last-named
lot; thence Easterly by part of the northern boundary
of Allotment No. 217 of the Parish of Puniu, the
termination of a road-line 100 links wide, the north-
eastern boundaries of Allotments Nos. 292 and 304,
the termination of another road of width aforesaid,
the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of
Allotment No. 305, the south-eastern boundary of
Allotment No. 306, and part of the south-eastern
boundary of Allotment No. 307, also of the Parish of
Puniu aforesaid, to the termination of a right line
produced in continuance of the north-eastern boun-
daries of Allotments Nos. 156, 157, and 158, also of
the Parish of Puniu aforesaid; thence by the right
line above described and the north-eastern boundaries
of Allotments Nos. 156, 157, and 158 before named
to the confiscation boundary-line; towards the South-
east by the confiscation boundary-line aforesaid to
the Puniu River; towards the South-west by the
Puniu River aforesaid to its confluence with the
Ruapahu Stream; and towards the West by the
Ruapahu Stream aforesaid to the southern angle of
Allotment No. 145, Parish of Mangapiko; thence by
the south-western boundary of Allotment No. 145
aforesaid, and by said boundary produced to the
centre of the road which forms its north-western
boundary; thence by the centre of said road to the
southern angle of Lot No. 234; thence following the
south-western boundaries of Allotments Nos. 234
and 236, and crossing a road 100 links wide to the
south-western angle of Allotment No. 321; thence
following the western boundary of Allotment No.
321 aforesaid and the western boundaries of Allot-
ments Nos. 67, 66, 65, 61, 59, 58, and 56 to the centre
of the road which forms part of the northern boun-
dary of Allotment No. 56 aforesaid; thence by the
centre of said road to the south-western angle of Lot
No. 43; thence by the eastern and part of the
northern boundary of Lot No. 40, part of the western
boundary of Lot No. 45, the southern boundary of
Lot No. 46, the southern, western, and northern

boundary of Allotment No. 47, the western boundary
of Allotment No. 48, and part of the western boun-
dary of Allotment No. 49, the southern, south-western,
and northern boundary of Allotment No. 55, part of
the northern and western boundary of Allotment
No. 50, part of the western boundary of Allotment
No. 51, and the southern boundaries of Lots Nos. 52,
53, and 54, all of the Parish of Mangapiko aforesaid,
to Lake Ngaroto; thence traversing the north-
eastern margin of Lake Ngaroto to the south-western
boundary of Lot No. 297 of the Parish of Ngaroto
aforesaid; thence following the line which forms part
of the south-western boundary of Allotment No. 297
aforesaid and its production to the centre of the
road which also forms part of its south-western
boundary; and thence continuing north-westerly
along the centre of the last-named road to the centre
of the road at the north-western angle of Allotment
No. 300A first mentioned, the place of commence-
ment.

Administrator of the Government, this
sixteenth day of November, one thou-
sand eight hundred and eighty-two.

Authorizing Sale of the North Timaru Cemetery
Reserve.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and au-
thorities conferred upon me by "The North
Timaru Cemetery Sale Act, 1882," I, James Pren-
dergast, the Administrator of the Government of the
Colony of New Zealand, do hereby notify that the
land described in the Schedule hereto, which has
been set apart as a reserve for a cemetery, is dis-
charged from such reservation; and, further, I do
hereby authorize the Land Board of the Canterbury
Land District, at any time after the expiration of
three months after the first publication hereof, to sell
the said land upon the terms and conditions set
forth in the Act herein above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land in the Arowhenua Survey
District, Provincial District of Canterbury, contain-
ing 5 acres, more or less. Bounded-Northward by
Section No. 1701; Eastward by Section No. 965;
and Southward and Westward by a road-line: and
numbered 146 (in red) on the official map in the
Survey Office, Christchurch.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Administrator of the Government, this
twenty-sixth day of October, one thou-
sand eight hundred and eighty-two.
