THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

I, the undersigned, hereby make application to register the Zealandia Gold-Mining Company (Limited) as a Limited Company under the provisions of "The Mining Companies Act, 1872."

  1. The name of the Company is to be the Zealandia Gold-Mining Company (Limited).
  2. The place of intended operations is at Terawhiti, in the Hutt County.
  3. The registered office of the Company will be situated at Customhouse Quay, in the City of Wellington.
  4. The nominal capital of the Company is twelve thousand pounds, in twenty-four thousand shares of ten shillings each.
  5. The number of shares subscribed for is twenty thousand, being not less than two-thirds of the entire number of shares in the Company.
  6. The number of paid-up shares is nil.
  7. The amount already paid up is nil.
  8. The name of the Manager is William Edward Stanley Hickson.
  9. The names, addresses, and occupations of the shareholders, and the number of shares held by each at this date, are as follow:-

  4. The nominal capital of the Company is twelve thousand pounds, in twenty-four thousand shares of ten shillings each.

WELLINGTON AND MANAWATU RAILWAY COM-
PANY (LIMITED).

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington and Manawatu Railway Company (Limited) are constructing a railway under "The Railways Construction and Land Act, 1881," and have, in terms of the 18th clause of the said Act, deposited for public inspection in the Public Works Office, and the office of the Company, in the City of Wellington, and in the office of the Borough Council, Palmerston North, a plan setting forth the middle line and direction of the railway, and a book of reference showing the lands required to be taken for the portion of the railway between the junction at Longburn with the Foxton and New Plymouth Railway, and Section No. 64, Fitzherbert, and the names of the owners and occupiers of such lands.
