to Redman's Terrace, crossing Redman's Creek;
from thence to back of Scanlan's Point; and termi-
nating at peg marked M, on the terrace above Scan-
lan's Point.
The length of such race is four miles or thereabouts,
and its intended course is north and south. Time
estimated for construction and completion, twelve
months.
The mean depth of such race is 2 feet 6 inches,
and the mean breadth is 3 feet, and it is proposed
to divert eight Government-heads of water.

Mining District, and all other persons whom it
may concern.
TAKE notice that it is intended to construct a
Water-race and divert water for the purpose of
driving pumping machinery for Tipperary Mining
Company, commencing at a tributary of Scanlan's
Gully, Macetown (known as Skipper's Creek), and
terminating at lower end of Tipperary Mining Com-
pany's claim, Scanlan's Gully, Macetown.
The length of such race is about 1,000 yards, and
its intended course is east and west.
The mean depth of such race is 1 foot 6 inches,
and the mean width is 2 feet, and it is proposed to
divert two Government-heads of water.

I, WILLIAM LAURENCE SIMPSON, Manager of the
Trustees, Executors, and Agency Company of
New Zealand (Limited), do solemnly and sincerely
declare-
- That the liability of the members is limited.
- That the capital of the Company is £50,000, divided into
10,000 shares of £5 each. - That the number of shares issued is 10,000.
- That calls to the amount of £1 per share have been made,
under which the sum of £9,665 has been received. - That the amount of all moneys received on account of
estates is £ - That the amount of all moneys paid on account of estates
is £ - That the amount of the balance held to the credit of
estates under administration is £ - That the liabilities of the Company on the 1st day of July

I, the undersigned, hereby make application to
register the Ahaura and Orwell Creek Sluicing
and Gold-Mining Company as a Limited Company
under the provisions of "The Mining Companies
Act, 1872." - The name of the Company is to be the Ahaura and Orwell
Creek Sluicing and Gold-Mining Company (Limited). - The place of intended operations is at Orwell Creek,
County of Grey, Colony of New Zealand. - The registered office of the Company will be in Broadway,
Reefton, in the County of Inangahua, colony aforesaid. - The nominal capital of the Company is forty thousand
pounds, in forty thousand shares of one pound each. - The number of shares subscribed for is forty thousand,
being the entire number of shares in the Company. - The number of paid-up shares is nil.
- The amount of capital considered to be paid up is twenty
thousand pounds. - The name of the Manager is Patrick Brennan.

and the number of shares held by each at this date, are as
