western boundary of said section 384 links distant
from its south-westernmost corner. Bounded as
follows: Westerly by said boundary, 103 links;
North-westerly by a line, 322 links; South-easterly
by the south-eastern boundary of said reserve, 122
links; and by a line to commencing point, 286 links.
All that piece or parcel of land containing by
admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood, being portion of
Reserve No. 2275, commencing at a point on the
western boundary of Reserve No. 2064 384 links
from its intersection with the north-western boun-
dary of public road. Bounded as follows: Easterly
by Reserve No. 2064, 103 links; generally North-
erly by lines, 348, 440, and 499 links respectively;
South-westerly by the south-western boundary of
Reserve No. 2275 aforesaid, 143 links; generally
Southerly by lines to commencing point, 409, 450,
and 328 links respectively.
All that piece or parcel of land coutaining by ad-
measurement 5 acres 3 roods 3 perches, being portion
of Section No. 20828, commencing at the northern-
most corner of Block VIII. of Reserve No. 350.
Bounded as follows: Generally South-westerly by
lines, 3323, 484, 443, 416, 355, 375, and 365 links
respectively; generally North-easterly by public
road and lines, 148, 251, 366, 346, 406, 432, 474, and
3507 links respectively; South-easterly by Block
VIII. aforesaid to commencing point, 213 links.
All that piece or parcel of land containing by ad-
measurement 25 acres 3 roods 6 perches being por-
tions of Sections Nos. 20822, 6424, Improvement Pre-
emptive Right B', 6425, 15038, 15042, 17294, 15037,
17295, 5254, and 5253 respectively, commencing at a
point on the south-west boundary of Section No. 20822
1891 links distant from its south-easternmost corner.
Bounded as follows: North-easterly by lines, 25603
and 216 links respectively; North-westerly by public
road, 106 links; South-westerly by lines, 256 and
25507 links respectively; Southerly by public road
to commencing point, 141 links: the above areas
and linkages being either more or less; and the
several parcels of land being situate in the Wester-
field Survey District, Provincial District of Canter-
bury, Colony of New Zealand, and are more parti-
cularly delineated upon the plan marked P.W.D.
7857, deposited in the office of the Minister for
Public Works at Wellington, Provincial District of
Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of f the powers and
authorities conferred upon me by the seventieth
section of "The Land Act 1877 Amendment Act,
1882," I, James Prendergast, the Administrator of
the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, do
hereby declare that, from and after the day of the
date hereof, the notification of the sixteenth day of
July, one thousand eight hundred and eighty, by His
Excellency the Governor, setting apart the sections
of land enumerated in the Schedule hereto for sale
as pastoral land on deferred payments, shall be and
the same is hereby revoked.
SCHEDULE.
SECTIONS Nos. 97, 98, 99, 119, 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, Block
V., Patutahi Survey District.
Sections Nos. 7 and 8, Block V., Sections Nos. 1,
2, 3, and 4, Block IX., Sections Nos. 1, 2, and 3,
Block X., Sections Nos. 1 and 2, Block XIII., Tara-
marama Survey District.

Special Settlement at Te Aroha.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and autho-
rities conferred upon me by the twenty-fourth
section of "The Land Act 1877 Amendment Act,
1879," I, James Prendergast, the Administrator of the
Government of the Colony of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the block of rural
land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the
same is hereby set apart and declared open for a
special settlement, upon the terms and conditions
fixed by the Order in Council of even date here-
with, made under the twenty-fifth section of the said
Act.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece or parcel of land in Block II.,
Wairiri Survey District, Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 616 acres, more
or less. Bounded towards the North-west by Sections
Nos. 22,21,20, and 19 of said block; towards the South-
west by a public road, the same being the north-
eastern boundary of Sections Nos. 1, 3, and 4 of said
block; towards the South-east by Section No. 11 of
said block; and towards the East and North-east by
a road reserve, 1 chain wide, running along the
western bank of the Waihou River.
