Gold Fields Notices.
Gold-Mining Leases to be granted.
IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of
"The Mines Act, 1877," and with the regula-
tions made under that Act for the granting of leases
for gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that
it is intended to grant leases of Crown lands for
gold-mining purposes to the applicants specified in
the annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid
objections against such leases.
Objections to the granting of such leases, stating
the grounds of objection, must be made in writing,
and lodged with the Warden at Westport on or
before the 2nd day of October, 1882.
Copy of the applications made and plans annexed
may be seen at the Warden's Office at Westport.
SCHEDULE.
APPLICANTS: Frederick Ray and party. Style under
which it is intended to conduct the business: "The
Auckland Quartz-Mining Company." 16 acres 2
roods, south of and adjoining the Empire application,
Mokihinui, in the Nelson South-West Mining Dis-
trict.
