is intended to conduct the business: "Invincible
Quartz-Mining Company." 16 acres 2 roods, south

hinui, in the Nelson South-West Mining District.

Gold-Mining Lease to be granted.

IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of
"The Mines Act, 1877," and with the regula-
tions made under that Act for the granting of leases
for gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that
it is intended to grant a lease of Crown lands for
gold-mining purposes to the applicant specified in
the annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid
objections against such lease.

Objections to the granting of such lease, stating
the grounds of objection, must be made in writing,
and lodged with the Warden at Westport on or before
the 19th day of September, 1882.

West Mining District.

Applicant: Ralph de Young. Style under which
it is intended to conduct the business: "Favourite
Gold-Mining Company." 16 acres 2 roods, about

half a mile east of the Golden Point Company's dam,
Devil's Creek, Inangahua, in the Nelson South-West
Mining District.

Applicant: Mathew Ryan. Style under which it
is intended to conduct the business: "The Golden
Monarch Gold-Mining Company." 16 acres 2 roods,
on the south bank of Maori Gully, Inangahua, in the
Nelson South-West Mining District.
