Vesting a Reserve in the Gore Athenæum (Incor-
porated).

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this
twenty-eighth day of August, 1882.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE
GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule
hereto were reserved as a site for an
athenæum: And whereas, in the opinion of the
Administrator of the Government, it is expedient to
vest the said land in the Gore Athenæum (Incor-
porated):

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator
of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand,
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said colony, and in exercise of the
powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth
section of "The Public Reserves Act, 1881," doth
hereby declare that, from and after the day of the
date hereof, the said reserves shall become vested in
the Gore Athenæum (Incorporated).

SCHEDULE.

ALL that piece or parcel of land in the Township of
Gore, in the Southland Land District, containing by
admeasurement 2 roods 4 perches, more or less, and
being Section No. 7, Block I, in the Town of Gore.
Bounded as follows: On the North by Section No. 8
of said block, 300 links; on the East by Section No. 6
of said block, 175 links; on the South by Mersey
Street, 300 links; and on the West by Ordsal Street,
175 links.
