NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT A WATER-
RACE.
To the Mining Registrar at Clyde of the Otago
Gold Fields Mining District, and all other persons
whom it may concern.
TAKE notice that it is intended to construct a
Water-race and divert water, under the pro-
visions of section 31 of "The Mines Act, 1877," com-
mencing at a point in the Waipuna Creek, and
terminating at the Dunstan District Hospital.
The length of such race is four miles or there-
abouts, and its intended course is north-east and
south-west.
The race is already constructed.
The mean depth of such race is 1 foot, and the
mean breadth is 1 foot 6 inches, and it is proposed to
divert one Government-head of water.
Dated at Clyde, this 27th day of July, 1882.
