Gold-Mining Lease.—Notice of Withdrawal of
Application.

IT is hereby notified that the under-mentioned
application for a gold-mining lease has been with
drawn, and that the ground is now open for appli-
cation as if a lease of the same had never been applied
for:-
Arthur D'Oyly Bayfield; dated 14th November,
1881; for the Success Gold-Mining Company; 16½
acres; situate between the Hope and Perseverance
Collingwood.

Gold-Mining Lease to be granted.
IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of
"The Mines Act, 1877," and with the regulations
made under that Act for the granting of leases for
gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is
intended to grant a lease of Crown lands for gold-
mining purposes to the applicants specified in the
annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objec-
tions against such lease.
Objections to the granting of such lease, stating
the grounds of objection, must be made in writing,
and lodged with the Warden at Naseby on or before
the 1st day of September, 1882.
Copy of the application made and plan annexed
may be seen at the Warden's Office at Naseby.
SCHEDULE.
APPLICANT: Charles Cleave. Style under which it
is intended to conduct the business: "Hydraulic
Sluicing Company." 10 acres, in the Mount Ida
Mining District.
Given under my hand, at Dunedin, this fourth
day of August, one thousand eight hun-
dred and eighty-two.

provisions of "The Land Transfer Act, 1870," unless
caveat be lodged forbidding the same on or before
the 30th day of October next.
