towards the East by Trafalgar Street South; again
towards the South by Van Diemen Street to a point
on the north side of said street at which the western
side of Hill Street produced would intersect it; again
towards the East by a right line to and by said side
of Hill Street to Section D11; again towards the
South by said section; again towards the East and
South-east by said section and by Section D12,
to a road-line forming the south-western boun-
dary of last-mentioned section; towards the North-
east by said Section D12 to the western side of
Grampian Road; towards the South-east by said
road to the boundary of the Borough of Nelson; and
towards the South-west and North-west by the boun-
dary-lines of the Borough of Nelson.

Brook.—Comprises all that portion of the Borough
of Nelson not included in the Licensing Districts of
Port, Wood, and Waimea.

Westport North.—Bounded on the Northward by
the high-water mark of the South Pacific Ocean; on
the Eastward partly by a straight line bearing 155°
53' drawn from the aforesaid high-water mark in the
direction of Domett Street to the north-east corner
of the Municipal Reserve; thence by Domett Street,
155° 53', 1920 links; on the Southward by a straight
line bearing 245° 53, drawn from the aforesaid linkage
point in Domett Street partly through the Municipal
Reserve and partly along the centre of Henley Street,
to the banks of the River Buller; and on the West-
ward by the banks of the River Buller, from the centre
of Henley Street to the northern boundary, as given
above.

Westport Central.—Bounded on the Northward
by the southern boundary of the aforesaid North
Licensing District; on the Eastward by Domett
Street, 155° 53', 2780 links; on the Southward by a
straight line bearing 245° 53,' drawn from aforesaid
linkage point in Domett Street partly through the
Municipal Reserve and partly along the centre of
Wakefield Street to the banks of the River Buller;
on the Westward by the banks of the River Buller,
from the centre of Wakefield Street to the northern
boundary of this ward, as given above.

Westport South.—Comprises all that portion of the
Borough of Westport not included in the Westport
North or Westport Central Licensing Districts.

MARLBOROUGH.

Borough of Picton.—Comprises the site of the town
as defined by the original plan thereof in the Crown
Lands Office of the Provincial District of Marl-
borough, and all adjoining lands within 10 chains of
the said town.

Blenheim North.—Bounded towards the North by
a public road forming the northern boundary of Sec-
tions Nos. 51 and 50, Omaka, from the north-western
corner of said Section No. 51 to the Opawa River;
thence towards the East by the Opawa River to the
boundary-line between Sections Nos. 47 and 24,
Opawa; thence by that line to the Opawa River;
thence towards the South by the Opawa and Omaka
Rivers to the western boundary of Section No. 3,
Omaka; and thence towards the West by the western
boundary of said Section No. 3 and the western boun-
dary of said Section No. 51 to the starting point.

Blenheim East.—Bounded towards the North by
the Opawa and Omaka Rivers, from the north-eastern
corner of Section No. 46, Opawa, to the Omaka Bridge;
thence by Alfred Street to Market Place; thence
towards the West by Market Place to the Maxwell
Road; thence by the Maxwell Road to the southern
boundary of Section No. 3, Omaka; thence towards
the South by the southern boundaries of Sections
Nos. 3 and 1, Omaka, to the south-eastern corner of
said section No. 1; thence by a public road along the
eastern boundary of said Section No. 1 to the south-
western corner of said Section No. 51 to the Opawa River;
thence towards the East by the Opawa River to the
boundary-line between Sections Nos. 47 and 24,
Opawa; thence by that line to the Opawa River;
thence towards the South by the Opawa and Omaka
Rivers to the western boundary of Section No. 3,
Omaka; and thence towards the West by the western
boundary of said Section No. 3 and the western boun-
dary of said Section No. 51 to the starting point.
Blenheim East.—Bounded towards the North by
the Opawa and Omaka Rivers, from the north-eastern
corner of Section No. 46, Opawa, to the Omaka Bridge;
thence by Alfred Street to Market Place; thence
towards the West by Market Place to the Maxwell
Road; thence by the Maxwell Road to the southern
boundary of Section No. 3, Omaka; thence towards
the South by the southern boundaries of Section

the southern boundary of said Section No. 46 to its
south-eastern corner; thence towards the East by
the eastern boundary of said Section No. 46 to the
Opawa River.

Blenheim West.—Comprises all that portion of the
Borough of Blenheim not included in the Blenheim
North and Blenheim East Licensing Districts.

CANTERBURY.

Christchurch North.—That portion of the City of
Christchurch bounded towards the North by Rural
Sections Nos. 46, 206, 257, and part of No. 243;
towards the East by the middle of Colombo Street
to the middle of Hereford Street; towards the South
by the middle of Hereford Street to the west side of
Antigua Street; and towards the West by the Go-
verument Domain and the River Avon.

Christchurch East.—That portion of the City of
Christchurch bounded towards the North by Rural
Sections Nos. 243, 13, 263, 286, and 287; towards
the East by Rural Section No. 33, the River Avon,
and Rural Section No. 26 to the middle of Hereford
Street; towards the South by the middle of Here-
ford Street; and towards the West by the Christ-
church North Licensing District.

Christchurch West.—That portion of the City of
Christchurch bounded towards the North by Christ-
church North Licensing District; towards the East
by the middle of Colombo Street; towards the South
by Rural Sections Nos. 79, 17, 66, and 72; towards
the North-west by the Lower Lincoln Road; and
towards the West by the west side of Antigua
Street.

Christchurch South.—That portion of the City of
Christchurch not included in Licensing Districts of
Christchurch North, Christchurch East, and Christ-
church West.

Borough of Ashburton.—Being all that area known
as the Borough of Ashburton. Bounded towards the
North-east by Rural Sections Nos. 4906 and 5800
and also by lines in continuation of the south-west
boundaries of these sections for a distance of about
89 chains; towards the North-west by Rural Section
No. 4905 and also by lines in continuation of the
south-eastern boundaries thereof a distance of about
45 chains; towards the South-east by Rural Sections
Nos. 4904 and 4873 and also by lines in continua-
tion of their north-western boundaries a distance of
about 97 chains; and towards the South-west by the
River Ashburton.

Akaroa.—Being all that area known as the Borough
of Akaroa. Bounded by a line commencing at a
point where the northern branch of the Mill Stream
falls into the sea, continued easterly along the
northern branch of the said stream to the first
fork; thence in a straight line southerly to the
trig. pole marked A on the hill; thence in the
same direction to the point where the Balqueri
Road meets the eastern boundary of Watson Street;
thence along the eastern side of the said street to
where it crosses the eastern boundary of Le Leivre's
land; thence southerly along the said eastern boun-
dary and along the boundary of Malmanche's land to
the Rue Charbonnier; thence across the Rue Char-
bonnier and onwards southerly in the same direct line
as the eastern boundary of Malmanche's land to Ayl-
mer Street; thence westerly along the southern side
of that street to its junction with South Street;
thence along the eastern side of the last-named street
till it meets a line in continuation of the north-east
side of Abattoir Reserve; thence north-westerly
along said line and the north-eastern boundary of
the Abattoir Reserve to low-water mark; thence
along low-water mark to commencing point.
