Kaiapoi.—Being all that area known as the Borough of Kaiapoi. Commencing at the south-
western corner of Rural Section No. 338E on the
North Road; thence south-westerly across the
branch of the Courtenay (Waimakariri) and along
the southern bank of the said branch (said to be the
old course of the river) to a point in line with the east-
ern boundary of Rural Section No. 365; thence in and
along the line of the said eastern boundary of Rural
Section No. 365 a distance of about 45 chains 80
links; thence easterly at a right angle of about 66
chains 50 links along the southern side of a public
street or road crossing Rural Sections Nos. 321,468,
and 297 to the northern bank of the main stream of
the River Courtenay, following the said northern
bank of the said main stream and the western bank of
the branch stream a distance altogether of about 64
chains; thence following a line due north to a point
on the opposite bank of the last-mentioned stream,
following easterly along that bank at a point in line
with the western boundary of Section No. 1393;
thence following a straight line being in the con-
tinuation of the aforesaid western boundary to the
southern boundary of Section No. 1011, following
westerly along the southern boundary of that section
and of Section No. 1002 to the eastern boundary of
Section No. 360, following southerly, westerly, and
northerly along the eastern, southern, and western
boundaries of said Section No. 360, distances respec-
tively of 50 links, 30 chains, and 50 links; and from
thence returning in a straight line to the com-
mencing point.

Lyttelton.—Comprises all that area known as the
Borough of Lyttelton as described in the First
Schedule to "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1867,"
and extended by Proclamation in the New Zealand
Gazette, 31st August, 1872.

Rangiora.—Being all that area known as the
Borough of Rangiora. Bounded towards the North
by a road and Sections Nos. 1301, 1178, a road,
Sections Nos. 124, 1179, and a road; towards the
East by Section No. 435, a road, Section No. 463, a
road, Sections Nos. 793, 1388, and a road; towards
the South by Section No. 316, a road, and Sections
Nos. 370 and 372; towards the West by a road and
Sections Nos. 673, 682, 665, 569, and 474; again
towards the South by Section No. 474 aforesaid; and
again towards the West by a road, Section No. 505,
a road, and Section No. 969 to the point of com-
mencement.

Sydenham.—Being all that area known as the
Borough of Sydenham. Bounded by a line com-
mencing at the intersection of roads known as
Wilson's Road and the Ferry Road, and starting
from thence along the south side of the Ferry Road
in a westerly direction to the East Town Belt of the
City of Christchurch; from thence along the east
side of the said belt to the South Town Belt of the
said city; and from thence along the south side of
the said belt to the Lower Lincoln Road; from thence
along the southernmost side of the said Lincoln Road
to a road known as Bright's Road; from thence in a
south and easterly direction along the northernmost
side of Bright's Road to a road known as the Wind-
mill Road; and from thence along the easternmost
side of the said Windmill Road to a road known as
Colombo Road; from thence along the east side of
Colombo Road to a road known as Piper's Road;
and from thence along the north side of Piper's
Road to the River Heathcote; from thence along the
south bank of the said river to Wilson's Bridge;
and from thence northerly along the west side of
Wilson's Road to the starting point.

St. Albans.—Being all that area known as the
Borough of St. Albans, situated in the Christchurch
Survey District. Bounded towards the North-west
from the most northerly corner of Rural Section
No. 242, by Norman's Road, Papanui Road, Mary's
Road, McFadden's Road, Philpott's Road, and Innes's
Road to Rural Section No. 345A; towards the North-
east by last-mentioned section and Rural Section
No. 2795 to Shirley Road, and by Shirley Road to
Hill's Road; towards the East by Hill's Road and
North Avon Road to the City of Christchurch North
Town Belt; towards the South by the said Town
Belt and River Avon to a road forming the south-
west boundary of Rural Section No. 6; and towards
the South-west by that road and by road forming part
of south-east boundary of Rural Section No. 133 to
the River Avon, by said river, and by Rural Section
No. 242 to its most northerly. corner, the starting
point.

Timaru.—Being all that area known as the Borough
of Timaru. Bounded towards the North and East
by the sea; towards the South by the north boundary
of Section No. 1702, the north side of a road lying
to the north of Section No. 2367, the Cemetery
Reserve, and the north boundaries of Sections Nos.
1706 and 1607; towards the West by the east
boundary of Section No. 1606, the east and north
boundary of Section No. 707, the east boundary of
Section No. 1652 till it meets Whale's Creek to the
sea.

Borough of Waimate.—Being all that area known as
the Borough of Waimate. Bounded by lines commenc-
ing at a point at the south-western corner of Rural
Section No. 4311; thence along the western boundary
of said section and of that of Rural Section No.
7494 to the north-western corner of the last-named
section; thence along the northernmost boundary of
the last-named section to a point in line with the
westernmost boundary of Rural Section No. 2513;
thence in a line with and along the western boundaries
of Rural Sections Nos. 2513, 2697, and 5691, and in
a continuous line to the southernmost boundary of
Rural Section No. 6243; thence along the said
boundary of Rural Section No. 6243 and of Rural
Section No. 5725 to the south-eastern corner of the
last-named section; thence along the easternmost
boundary of the last-named section to a point in a
line with the northernmost boundary of Rural
Section No. 5647; thence in a line with and along
the last-named boundary to the north-eastern corner
of the said section; thence along the easternmost
boundaries of Rural Sections Nos. 5647, 5611, and
2521 to the south-eastern corner of the last-named
section; thence along the southernmost boundaries
of Rural Sections Nos. 5726, 5965, and 6217 to the
south-eastern corner of the last-named section;
thence at a right angle with the last-mentioned
boundaries to a point on the westernmost bank of
the Waimate Creek; and from thence returning
along the western and northern banks of the said
creek to the starting point.

WESTLAND.

Greymouth East.—Bounded on the Northward by
the Grey River; on the Eastward by the east boun-
dary of Native Reserve No. 31 and by Town Belt
East; on the Southward by Town Belt South; and
on the Westward by road and railway reserve, Shake-
speare Street, and Tainui Street.

Greymouth Central.—Bounded on the Northward
by the Grey River; on the Eastward by the western
boundary of Greymouth East Licensing District; and
on the Westward by road and railway reserve, Chapel
Street, Herbert Street, and Boundary Street.

Greymouth West.—Bounded on the Northward by
the Grey River; on the Eastward by the western
boundary of Greymouth Central Licensing District
and by part of western boundary of Greymouth
East Licensing District; and on the Southward by
