I, the undersigned, hereby make application to
register the Golden Hope Gold-Mining Com-
pany as a Limited Company under the provisions of
"The Mining Companies Act, 1872."
- The name of the Company is to be the Golden Hope
Gold-Mining Company (Limited). - The place of operations is at Darkey's Gully, Soldier's
Creek, County of Inangahua. - The registered office of the Company will be situate at
Reefton. - The nominal capital of the Company is twenty-four thou-
sand pounds, in twenty-four thousand shares of one pound
each, on which ten shillings per share is considered as paid up. - The number of shares subscribed for is twenty thousand
two hundred and fifty, being not less than two-thirds of the
entire number of shares in the Company. - The number of paid-up shares is nil.
- The amount already paid up is twelve thousand pounds.
- The name of the Manager is George Wise.
- The names, addresses, and occupations of the shareholders,
and the number of shares held by each at this date, are as
follow :-

Business of Merchants, lately carried on in
Christchurch and Dunedin, between the under-
signed, HENRY HAYES HENNAH, of Christchurch,
with Messrs. FREDERICK GONNERMAN DALGETY,
FREDERICK AUGUSTUS DUCROZ, EDMUND THEODORE
DOXAT, HENRY WILSON, DEMAIN SAUNDERS, SEPTIMUS
JOHNSON DUCROZ, all of London, CHARLES IBBOTSON,
of Geelong, ARTHUR RANKIN BLACKWOOD, of Mel-
bourne, ALFRED IBBOTSON, Of Geelong, FREDERICK
HENRY MOORE, of Sydney, and EDWIN JOHN SPENCE,
of Dunedin, has this day been dissolved by effluxion
of time.
The said Henry Hayes Hennah retires from the
business, which will in future be carried on at Christ-
church and Dunedin, as heretofore, by the remaining
partners, under the style or firm of "Dalgety and
Company."

I, HERBERT S. WARDELL, Sheriff of Wairarapa,
hereby give notice that, by virtue of a writ of
fieri facias, to me directed, I have taken in execution,
at the suit of the Execution Creditor, all the interest
of the above-named Defendant in that piece of land
containing a quarter of an acre, more or less, being
the Allotment No. 2, part of Section 17, Masterton
Small-Farm Settlement, being the fee-simple, subject
to a mortgage and further charge to secure the sum
of Β£260 and interest; and that I will sell, or cause
the same to be sold, by public auction, on Friday, the
21st day of April, 1882, at noon, at the Resident
Magistrate's Courthouse at Masterton, unless the
sum of Β£33 4s. 7d., together with interest and all
costs and charges, are sooner paid.
And I further give notice that William Fitzgerald,
Esq., of Wellington, is the Solicitor for the Execution
Creditor.
Given under my hand at Featherston, this 6th day
of March, 1882.
