thence in a straight line to western boundary of
Reserve No. 274; thence along said western boundary
to south bank of Grey River; thence along south
bank of Grey River to eastern boundary of the
Borough of Greymouth; thence along the eastern
and southern boundaries of said borough to the sea-
coast; and thence along the sea-coast to the com-
mencing point.

Waipuna.—Bounded towards the North-west by
Brunnerton Licensing District; towards the North
by Grey River and Inangahua County; towards the
South-east by Amuri County; towards the South-
west by the watershed between the Ahaura and
Kopara Rivers to the latter river, and by that river
to the Ahaura River, where the main Grey Valley
Road crosses it; thence by said road to Callaghan's
Creek; thence by said creek to the Grey River.

Nelson Creek.—Bounded towards the North-east by
Waipuna District; towards the East by Kopara River;
on the Southward by Ahaura Lake and the watershed
between Nelson Creek and Red Jack's Creek to the
Grey River; thence towards the West by said river
to its junction with Callaghan's Creek; thence fol-
lowing up said creek to a point where the Main Grey
Valley Road crosses the same; thence following the
centre of that road to the Ahaura Bridge, the place
of commencement.

Red Jack's.—Bounded towards the North-east and
West and again towards the North-east by the
Nelson Creek and Waipuna Licensing Districts;
towards the South-east by Amuri County to the
Hurunui Saddle; towards the South-west by the
boundary between the Provincial Districts of West-
land and Nelson to the Arnold River; thence by that
river to the Grey River; and on the Westward by
the Grey River.

Maori Creek.—Bounded towards the North-west
by the Brunnerton Licensing District; towards the
North-east by Red Jack's Licensing District; towards
the South-east by the western shore of Lake Brunner;
towards the South-west by a line drawn from a point
near the south-west corner of said Lake Brunner to
the source of the Eight-Mile Creek, following up said
creek to the Paroa Licensing District; and towards
the West by the said district.

Marsden.—Bounded towards the North-west by
the Paroa Licensing District; towards the North-east
by the Maori Creek Licensing District; towards the
South-east by the Blackwater Creek and Hohonu
River; and towards the South-west by the Terema-
kau River.

Hohonu.—Bounded towards the North-east by Red
Jack's Licensing District; towards the South and
South-west by the Teremakau River; and towards
the North-west, North-east, and again towards the
North-west by Marsden and Maori Creek Licensing
Districts.

WESTLAND COUNTY.

Arahura.—Commencing at the mouth of the
Teremakau, up that river to its source; thence
southerly along the dividing range to the source of
the Arahura River; thence following down the
southern bank of that river to the sea-coast; and
northwards along the coast to the commencing point.

Kanieri.—Commencing at the mouth of the Ara-
hura River; thence up the southern bank of said
river to its source; thence southerly along the divid-
ing range to the source of the Pass River (a branch
of the Hokitika River); thence down the southern
branch of said river to its junction with the Hokitika
River; and thence down the south bank of the last
mentioned river to the H.O. line; thence westerly
along the H.O. line to Mahinapua Lake, and by a
line touching the northern bank of the said lake to
the sea-coast; and thence northerly along the coast

to the commencing point: excepting the Town of
Hokitika.

Jackson's Bay.—Bounded towards the North-east
and East by the Kanieri Licensing District; towards
the South-east by the dividing range between West-
land and Canterbury Provincial Districts; towards
the South-west by Lake County; and towards the
North-west by the ocean to commencing point.

MARLBOROUGH COUNTY.

Awatere.—Bounded towards the North by the sea,
from Cape Campbell to the Awatere River; thence
towards the North and West by the Awatere River,
from its mouth to a point in Section No. 30, Wake-
field Downs, being the south-western corner of the
boundary of the Vernon Run; thence by a right
line to the south-western corner of Section No. 28,
Wakefield Downs; thence by the eastern side of the
road between Sections Nos. 33 and 29, Wakefield
Downs, and Section No. 4, Block I., and Section No.
2, Block I., District of Awatere, to the Utawai
Stream; thence by the Utawai Stream to the
northern boundary of Section No. 2, Block I., Awatere
District; thence along that boundary to Maxwell
Pass Stream; thence by the Maxwell Pass Stream to
the watershed; thence by a tributary of the Taylor
River to the Taylor River at the base of the hill
called the Maori; thence by the eastern side of the
Taylor Pass Road to its junction with the road
between Sections Nos. 28 and 48, Omaka Survey
District; thence to the nearest point of the western
boundary of Section No. 27, Omaka; thence by the
western boundaries of Sections Nos. 27 and 6, in said
district, to the north-west corner of said Section
No. 6; thence towards the North by the southern
boundary-lines of Sections Nos. 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17,
and 19, in said District of Omaka, and that line pro-
duced, to the south-eastern corner of Section No. 89,
in said district; thence towards the East by the
eastern boundary of said Section No. 89 to the north-
eastern corner of said section; thence towards the
North by the northern boundaries of said Section
No. 89, that boundary produced across the Omaka
River, and the northern boundaries of Sections Nos.
91 and 131, in the said district, to a point in transit
with the eastern boundary of Section No. 157, in said
Survey District of Omaka; thence towards the East
by that boundary-line and that line produced to the
north-east corner of Section No. 35, Block I, in the
Survey District of Waihopai; thence by a right line
to the Onamalutu Creek; thence by said creek to
the south-western corner of Section No. 106, Kaituna
Survey District; thence by the western boundaries
of Sections Nos. 106 and 107, said district; thence
by a line to the nearest point on the summit of the
watershed between the Onamalutu and Kaituna
Valleys; thence by that watershed to the summit of
the dividing range between the Pelorus and Wairau
Valleys; thence by that summit to Mount Rintoul;
thence by the Waimea County to Tophouse; thence
towards the West by Amuri County to Barefell Pass;
thence towards the South-west by Amuri County;
towards the South-east, South-west, and again towards
the South by Kaikoura County to the mouth of the
Clarence River; and towards the East by the ocean
to Cape Campbell, the starting point.

Spring Creek.—Bounded towards the West, North,
and East by the River Wairau, from the separation
of the Rivers Wairau and Opawa to the north-eastern
end of the road between Sections Nos. 28 and 32,
Wairau West; thence towards the South-east by that
line of road to the southern corner of Section No. 30;
thence towards the South-west by a road between
Sections Nos. 30 and 29 to the northern corner of
Section No. 29; thence by the north-western boundary
of Section No. 29 to Section No. 33; thence by the
