Mandeville and Rangiora. Bounded on the North
by the River Ashley; on the East by the sea; on the
South by the River Waimakariri and the Town of
Kaiapoi; on the West by the Cust Licensing District,
hereinafter described; and on the South-west by the
Oxford and Rangiora Road, the Oxford and Kaiapoi
Road, and the centre of the Rangiora main drain to
the place of commencement.

Oxford. Bounded on the North by the Waipara
Licensing District; on the East by the Ashley
Licensing District; again towards the North by
the Ashley Licensing District; again towards the
East by a right line drawn from the direction
of trig. pole No. 16, situate on the north bank
of the Ashley River, to the north-west corner
of Section No. 9791; thence from said north-west
corner to the north-west corner of Section No. 13684
to the western boundaries of Runs Nos. 203 and 108,
Class II., part of the western boundary of Run
No. 119 and the eastern boundary of Run No. 135
to the Waimakariri River; on the South-west and
West by the River Waimakariri; and on the North-
west by Selwyn County to the place of commence-
ment.

Eyreton. Bounded on the North-east by the Man-
deville and Rangiora Licensing District to the
northern branch of the Waimakariri River; thence
by that branch to a point in a line with the western
boundary of the Town of Kaiapoi; thence by the
western and southern boundaries of the said town to
the Waimakariri River; thence by a straight line
drawn to the westernmost corner of Section No. 669;
on the South by the River Waimakariri; and on the
West by a line drawn due north and south through
trig. pole C30 on the bank of the Waimakariri River
to the place of commencement.

Cust. Bounded on the North by the Ashley
Licensing District; on the East by the Mandeville
and Rangiora Licensing District and the Eyreton
Licensing District; on the South by the River Wai-
makariri; and on the West by the Oxford Licensing
District to the place of commencement.

SELWYN COUNTY.

Avon. Bounded on the Eastward by the sea and
the City of Christchurch; on the Northward by the
Ashley County; on the Southward by the River
Avon, the City of Christchurch, the Lincoln Road to
Archer's Bridge, the Lincoln and Riccarton Junction
Roads to its junction with the Great South Road,
also by the latter road; on the Westward by the
road forming the north-east boundary of Section
No. 6363 and the continuation thereof to its junction
with the road forming the north-west boundary of
Section No. 5835; thence by the latter road to the
road dividing Sections Nos. 5720 and 5721; thence
by that road to its junction with other roads north
of the northern boundary of Section No. 11581;
thence by the road leading from the last-mentioned
junctions in a northerly direction west of and about
16 chains from the western boundary of Section
No. 5194 to the Waimakariri River, the place of com-
mencement.

Heathcote. Bounded on the Northward by the
Avon Licensing District and the City of Christ-
church; on the Eastward by the sea; on the South-
ward by the Akaroa County; and on the Westward
by the River Halswell to the Old River-bed, and the
west edge of the Old River-bed to the Great South
Road, the place of commencement.

Lincoln. Bounded on the North-westward by the
Southern Railway and South Road; on the South-
westward by the centre of the River Selwyn and the
northern shore of Lake Ellesmere; on the Eastward
by County of Akaroa and the Heathcote Licensing
District to the place of commencement.

Courtenay. Bounded on the Eastward by the
Avon Licensing District; on the South-eastward by
the Lincoln Licensing District; on the South-west-
ward by the centre of the Selwyn River and the
Wakaepa Branch thereof; on the Westward by the
eastern boundary of Run No. 41, Class 3; and on
the Northward by the Ashley County to the place of
commencement.

Ellesmere. Bounded on the North by the Lincoln
Licensing District; on the East by the Akaroa
County; on the South-east by the sea; on the South
by the Rakaia River; on the West by the Great
South Road from the Rakaia to its junction with the
Great Southern Railway, and also by the said railway
to the River Selwyn, the place of commencement.

Upper Waimakariri. Bounded on the North-west
by the County of Westland; on the South-west by the
Ashburton County; on the South-eastward by the
Ellesmere Licensing District; on the North-eastward
by the Courtenay Licensing District; thence follow-
ing the Wakaepa Branch of the River Selwyn to its
junction with a creek running from the Thirteen-Mile
Bush; thence north-westerly in a straight line to the
southernmost point of Lake Lyndon; thence by a
straight line to the source of the stream which forms
part of the southern boundary of Section No. 9824,
following up the said stream to the southern side of
the West Coast Road; thence by that road to where
it is intersected by the easternmost branch of the
stream near the south-east corner of Section No. 9824,
following that stream; thence by a straight line to
Mount Torlesse; thence by Staircase Gully and the
northern branch thereof to Ashley County; towards
the East by Ashley County; and towards the North-
east by the Waipara Licensing District to the place
of commencement.

Malvern. Bounded on the North-east by Ashley
County; on the South-east by Courtenay Licensing
District; on the South-west and North-west by Upper
Waimakariri Licensing District to the place of com-
mencement.

AKAROA COUNTY.

Port Levy. Bounded towards the West by the
summit of the Port Hills; thence by a straight line
through Trig. Station L1 to Mount Herbert; thence
by a straight line to Mount Herbert Peak; thence
by the Mount Herbert Peak Road and the Purau
and Akaroa Road to a point on the summit of the
range where the ridge of the spur between Decanter
Bay and Little Akaroa Bay intersects it; towards
the East by the said spur to the sea; towards the
North by the sea to Church Gully, in Church Bay;
thence by a straight line across the harbour to the
south-east corner of the Native reserve at Raupaki,
following the north-eastern boundary of said reserve
to the Port Hills, the place of commencement.

Okain's Bay. Bounded towards the North-east
by the ocean; towards the South by the summit of the
spur leading from Putakoto Head; thence towards
the South-west by the highest ridge of the hills; and
on the North-west by the Port Levy Licensing Dis-
trict to the place of commencement.

Berard. Bounded towards the North-west by the
summit of the Pigeon Bay Ranges; towards the East
and again towards the North by Okain's Bay Licens-
ing District to the ocean; towards the South-east by
the ocean; towards the West by Akaroa Harbour to
a point on the western side of the Head of the bay,
being east of and in line with the northern boundary
of Section No. 729; thence by a straight line to the
north-east corner of said section; thence by the
northern boundary thereof to the south-eastern
corner of Section No. 8449; thence by the north-
eastern boundary of said section to the north-eastern
corner thereof; thence by the New Pigeon Bay Road
to the road separating Sections Nos. 8798 and 6660,
