    and knowledge, true in every particular; and I make
    this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the
    same to be true, and by virtue of an Act of the
    General Assembly of New Zealand intituled "The
    Justices of the Peace Act, 1866."

I, the undersigned, hereby make application to
register the Working Miners' Gold-Mining Com-
pany as a Limited Company under the provisions of
"The Mining Companies Act, 1872."

  1. The name of the Company is to be the Working Miners'
    Gold-Mining Company (Limited).
  2. The place of intended operations is at Paparoa Ranges, in
    the Grey Valley, in the County of Grey.
  3. The registered office of the Company will be in Mawhera
    Quay, Greymouth.
  4. The nominal capital of the Company is twenty-one thou-
    sand pounds, in forty-two thousand shares of ten shillings each;
    and the amount to be deemed to be paid up shall be ten thou-
    saud five hundred pounds, or five shillings per share.
  5. The number of shares subscribed for is forty-two thousand,
    being the entire number of shares in the Company.
  6. The number of paid-up shares is nil.
  7. The amount of capital considered to be paid up is ten
    thousand five hundred pounds.
  8. The name of the Manager is Frederick William Lahman.
  9. The names, addresses, and occupations of the shareholders,
    and the number of shares held by each at this date, are as

    District of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.
  3. The registered office of the Company will be situated at
    the New Zealand Insurance Company's Buildings, Auckland,
    in the Provincial District of Auckland and Colony of New Zea-
    land.
  4. The nominal capital of the Company is eighteen thousand
    pounds sterling, in eighteen thousand shares of one pound ster-
    ling each.
  5. The number of shares subscribed for is eighteen thousand,
    being the entire number of shares in the Company.
  6. The number of paid-up shares is nil.
  7. The amount already paid up is nil.
  8. The name of the Manager is Dennis Gilmore MacDonnell.
