Mining Notices.
(THE GREYMOUTH WALLSEND COLLIERY COM-
PANY (LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given that an Extraordinary
General Meeting of the Greymouth Wallsend
Colliery Company (Limited) will be held at the
Empire Hotel, Dunedin, on Thursday, the 2nd Feb-
ruary, 1882, at 12 o'clock noon, when the subjoined
resolutions, which were passed at the extraordinary
meeting of the Company held on the 31st December,
1881, will be submitted for confirmation as special
resolutions:—
Resolution No. 1: "That the agreement entered
into on behalf of this Company with the Westport
Coal Company (Limited), for the sale of leasehold
property, machinery, and plant of this Company to
the said Westport Coal Company (Limited), be con-
firmed, and that the Directors be empowered to carry
the same into effect."
Resolution No. 2: "That the Company be wound
up voluntarily under the provisions of 'The Joint-
Stock Companies Act, 1860;' and that JOHN I.
CARTER be and is hereby appointed Liquidator of
such winding up."
