it is intended to conduct the business: "Golden
Crown." 16 acres 2 roods, to the east of Star of
South and Ballarat, Big Boatman's, Inangahua, in
the Nelson South-West Mining District.

Gold-Mining Leases to be granted.

IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of
"The Mines Act, 1877," and with the regula-
tions made under that Act for the granting of leases
for gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it
is intended to grant leases of Crown lands for gold-
mining purposes to the applicants specified in the
annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objec-
tions against such leases.

Objections to the granting of such leases, stating
the grounds of objection, must be made in writing,
and lodged with the Warden at Reefton on or before
the 22nd day of March, 1882.

Copy of the applications made and plans annexed
may be seen at the Warden's Office at Reefton.

SCHEDULE.

APPLICANT: Robert Roulston. Style under which it
is intended to conduct the business: "The Garfield
Gold-Mining Company." 16 acres 2 roods, south of
the Balaclava Company, Inangahua, in the Nelson
South-West Mining District.

Applicant: William Goodwin Collings. Style
under which it is intended to conduct the business:
"Cressida Gold-Mining Company." 16 acres 2 roods,
west of the Kohinoor Company, Inangahua, in the
Nelson South-West Mining District.

eighteenth day of February, one thou-
