Gold Fields Notices.

Special-Claim Gold-Mining Leases to be granted.

IT is hereby notified that it is intended to grant
special-claim leases, under "The Mines Act,
1877," for gold-mining purposes, of Crown lands, to
the applicants specified in the annexed Schedule (in
the place of leases surrendered by them), unless
there shall be valid objections against such leases.

Objections to the granting of such leases, stating
the grounds of objection, must be made in writing,
and lodged with the Warden at Reefton on or before
the 15th day of March, 1882.
Copy of the applications made and plans annexed
may be seen at the Warden's Office at Reefton.

Gold-Mining Leases to be granted.

IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of
"The Mines Act, 1877," and with the regu-
lations made under that Act for the granting of
leases for gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified
that it is intended to grant leases of Crown lands
for gold-mining purposes to the applicants specified
in the annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid
objections against such leases.

Objections to the granting of such leases, stating
the grounds of objection, must be made in writing,
and lodged with the Warden at Reefton on or before
the 15th day of March, 1882.
Copy of the applications made and plans annexed
may be seen at the Warden's Office at Reefton.

APPLICANT: James Stevenson. Style under which
it is intended to conduct the business: "Britannia
Gold-Mining Company." 16 acres 2 roods, adjoining
and end on to the southern boundary of the Pactolus
Quartz-Mining Company, Boatman's, Inangahua, in
the Nelson South-West Mining District.

Applicant: William Hindmarsh. Style under which
it is intended to conduct the business: "The
Loadstone Gold-Mining Company (Limited)." 16
acres 2 roods, south of the Magnet, Boatman's,
Inangahua, in the Nelson South-West Mining Dis-
trict.

Applicant: George Wise. Style under which it
is intended to conduct the business: "New Chum
Quartz-Mining Company." 16 acres 2 roods, west
of the junction of Devil's and Denny's Creeks,
Inangahua, in the Nelson South-West Mining Dis-
trict.

Applicant: William Hindmarsh. Style under which
it is intended to conduct the business: "The
Montana Gold-Mining Company." 16 acres 2 roods,
north of the Alta Company's application, Boatman's,
Inangahua, in the Nelson South-west Mining Dis-
trict.

Applicant: Patrick Brennan, for the Victoria Ex-
tended Quartz-Mining Company. Style under which
it is intended to conduct the business: "Victoria
Extended Quartz-Mining Company." 16 acres 2
roods, east of the Victoria and Phoenix leases,
Murray Creek, Inangahua, in the Nelson South-
West Mining District.

Applicant: Patrick Brennan. Style under which
it is intended to conduct the business: "San Fran-
cisco Gold-Mining Company." 16 acres 2 roods, on
the spur between the two branches of Denny's
Creek, east of the South British application, Inanga-
hua, in the Nelson South-West Mining District.

Applicant: William Hindmarsh. Style under
which it is intended to conduct the business: "The
Native Gold-Mining Company." 16 acres 2 roods,
south of the Bow Bells, Boatman's, Inangahua, in
the Nelson South-West Mining District.

Applicant: Gerri Bacovich. Style under which it
is intended to conduct the business: "Lone Hand
Gold-Mining Company." 16 acres 2 roods, north
from Rainy Creek line of reef, on the fall into the
Inangahua Kiver, Inangahua.

Applicant: James Taylor. Style under which it
is intended to conduct the business: "Champion
Gold-Mining Company." 16 acres 2 roods, north of
the Colleen Bawn application, Inangahua, in the
Nelson South-West Mining District.

Applicant: Edwin Ashton. Style under which it is
intended to conduct the business: "Happy Moments
Quartz-Mining Company." 16 acres 2 roods, south
of the Cyclops, Boatman's, Inangahua, in the Nelson
South-West Mining District.
