SCHEDULE.

BOUNDED towards the East by a right line com-
mencing at Trig. Station F, in Block VIII., Opua-
whanga Survey District, and proceeding due north to
the western boundary of Tewairahi Block No. 315,
and by said western boundary to its north-western
angle, and thence by another right line also running
due north for a distance of 75 chains; thence towards
the North by a right line running due west to the
Kaimamaku River; thence towards the West by the
Kaimamaku River to its confluence with the Wairua
River, and by the last-named river to the north-
eastern boundary of the Hikurangi Highway Dis-
trict; thence towards the South-west by part of the
said Hikurangi Highway District to the southern
boundary of Block XII., Hukerenui Survey Dis-
trict; thence towards the South-west by part of the
southern boundary of the said Block XII. to the
southern boundaries of McInnes's and McKenzie's
selection in Block XII. aforesaid to the south-eastern
angle of the same; and thence towards the South-
east by a right line to Trig. Station F, the place of
commencement: as the same is delineated on the
plan deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.

Governor, this eighth day of February,
one thousand eight hundred and eighty-
two.

"Highways Act, 1874" (Auckland), brought into
Operation in the Otonga District, County of
Whangarei.

ARTHUR GORDON, Governor.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers and
authorities vested in me by an Act of the Pro-
vince of Auckland intituled "The Highways Act,
1874," and by "The Abolition of Provinces Act,
1875," I, Arthur Hamilton Gordon, the Governor of
the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby notify that I
do hereby bring the said "Highways Act, 1874,"
into operation in the Otonga Highway District;
and I further notify that I do hereby appoint the
fourth day of March, one thousand eight hun-
dred and eighty-two, at twelve o'clock noon, at the
Schoolhouse, Otonga, to be the day, hour, and place
for the first meeting of ratepayers of the said dis-
trict; and I appoint James Walter Kerr to be the
Chairman of such meeting.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this eighth day of February,
one thousand eight hundred and eighty-
two.

I, Arthur Hamilton Gordon, the Governor of the

to appoint

ARTHUR BAILEY TUSON, Esq.,

to be the Returning Officer to conduct the first
election of five Commissioners for the Town Dis-
trict of Gordon, as constituted under "The Town
Districts Act, 1881;" and also to appoint Saturday,
the 11th day of March, 1882, as the time, and Mac-
kay's Hall, East Gore, as the place, for such first
election. Also to appoint the long-room of the
Provincial Hotel, East Gore, at 7 o'clock in the
evening of Saturday, the 18th day of March next, as
the place and time for the first meeting of the Com-
missioners.
