towards the South by the ocean and the Jacob's
River Estuary; and towards the West by Jacob's
River to the place of commencement: exclusive of
the Borough of Riverton.

Jacob's River Subdivision.

Bounded towards the North by the Aparima
Hundred; towards the East by the Waimatuku Sub-
division, hereinbefore described; towards the South
by Jacob's River Estuary; thence by the Pourapoura-
kono River to the south-west corner of Block III.,
Jacob's River Survey District; thence due West to
the western boundary of the said Jacob's River
Survey District; and thence towards the West by the
said western boundary of Jacob's River Survey
District aforesaid and the Aparima Hundred to the
place of commencement.

Mount Pleasant Subdivision.

Comprises all that area included within the boun-
daries of the Aparima Hundred, exclusive of the
Otautau Town District.

Heddon Bush Subdivision.

Bounded towards the North by the Taringatura
Survey District; towards the North-east, South, and
towards the East, and again towards the South by
the Southland County, as described in the First
Schedule to "The Counties Act, 1876;" thence
towards the South-west by the Waimatuku Sub-
division, hereinbefore described; and thence towards
the North-west by the Mount Pleasant Subdivision,
hereinbefore described, to the place of commence-
ment.


SECOND SCHEDULE.

MANUKAU COUNTY.

Bounded towards the North by the Manukau
Harbour and Eden County, as the said Eden County
is described in the First Schedule to "The Counties
Act, 1876;" thence towards the West, towards the
North-east, and towards the East respectively by the
Tamaki River, Tamaki Strait, and the Frith of Thames
to Pukorokoro; thence towards the South-east and
South by the high road and telegraph line from Puko-
rokoro to Mercer, to its intersection with the Mara-
marua Stream; thence by the centre of the said Mara-
marua Stream to the Waikato River; thence again
towards the South generally by the centre of the said
Waikato River to its mouth; and thence towards the
West by the ocean: including all islands in Waikato
River between the mouth of the Maramarua and
Whangamarino Streams and Waikato Heads.

PIAKO COUNTY.

Bounded towards the North by Thames County, as
the same is described in the First Schedule to "The
Counties Act, 1876;" thence towards the East by
lines from hill to hill along the summit of the range
forming the western boundary of the Tauranga con-
fiscated district to Poutihi; thence by a right line to
Uira Gorge; thence towards the South-west by a
right line to the summit of the Maungatautari
Mountain; thence by a right line drawn between the
said Maungatautari Mountain and Kopuahau as far
as the centre of the Waikato River; thence by the
centre of the said Waikato River to a point in line
with the western boundary-line of Section No. 335,
Cambridge Survey District, Parish of Hautapu;
thence towards the West by the Waikato County,
hereinafter described; thence again towards the
North, towards the North-east, North-west, and
again towards the South-west by the Waikato County
aforesaid to Thames County, the place of commence-
ment.

WAIKATO COUNTY.

All that area in the Provincial District of Auckland,
bounded towards the North-west and North by part
of the Manukau County, hereinbefore described,
from the junction of the Maramarua Stream and the
Waikato River to Pukorokoro; thence towards the
North-east by the confiscation boundary-line to
Kopuahau; thence towards the South-east by the
said confiscation boundary-line to the north-eastern
angle of Allotment No. 266, Parish of Hautapu;
thence towards the South-west by the north-eastern
boundary-line of the said Allotment No. 266, and by
the north-eastern boundary-lines of Allotments Nos.
267, 268, 269, 270, 271, 272, 273, 274, 275, and 276,
all of the Parish of Hautapu aforesaid; thence again
towards the South-east by the south side of the road-
line which forms the north-western boundary of said
Allotment No. 276 to the Karapera Creek; thence
towards the South and East by the said Karapera
Creek to the western boundary-line of Allotment
No. 230, Parish of Hautapu aforesaid; thence again
towards the East by the said western boundary-line
of Allotment No. 236, across a road-line, and by the
western boundary of Allotment No. 335 to the
Waikato River; thence towards the South-west and
West by the centre of said Waikato River to the
mouth of the Maramarua Stream, the place of com-
mencement: including all islands in the Waikato
River southward of the Maramarua Stream, and
excluding the Borough of Hamilton from the above
description.

WHAKATANE COUNTY.

Bounded towards the North by the ocean from
Waitahanui to Cape Runaway; thence towards the
North-east by a right line to the summit of Mount
Hikurangi; thence towards the South-east by right
lines from hill to hill along the summit of the
watershed between the Bay of Plenty and the East
Coast to Trig. Station 139; thence to and through
Trig. Station 140 to the Motu River; thence by the
centre of the said Motu River to the north-western
boundary of the Motu Block; thence by the said
north-western boundary of the said Motu Block to
its north-west corner, at the Koranga River; thence
towards the North-east by the centre of the said
Koranga River to its source; thence by a right line
to Maungatapere; thence again towards the South-
east by a right line to Maungapohatu; thence by a
right line to Puketapu; thence towards the South by
a right line to the most northerly point of the
Waikaremoana Lake; thence by a right line towards
the junction of the Rangitaiki River and the main
road from Napier to Tapuaeharuru till it meets a
right line joining the summits of the Tatarakino and
Tawhiwhau Mountains; thence towards the West by
the last-mentioned line to Tawhiwhau; thence by a
right line to the south-east angle of the Tauranga
County, as the said Tauranga County is described in
the First Schedule to "The Counties Act, 1876;"
and thence by the eastern boundary of the Tauranga
County aforesaid to Waitahanui, the place of com-
mencement.

COOK COUNTY.

Bounded towards the North-west and West by the
south-eastern and eastern boundaries of the Whaka-
tane County, hereinbefore described, from Puketapu
to Cape Runaway; thence towards the North and
East by the ocean, to Paritu; and thence towards
the South by a right line to the junction of the
Ruakituri and Huangaroa Rivers, and by the centre
of the said Ruakituri River to Puketapu, the place of
commencement.

WAIRARAPA WEST COUNTY.

Bounded by a line commencing at the source of the
