South by the northern boundaries of Sections Nos.
1060, 1452, and 1267 to the north-west corner of the
latter section; thence by the western boundary of
Section No. 1267, the northern and western boun-
daries of Section No. 1268, and the northern boun-
daries of Sections Nos. 1046, 18810, 13595, 13631,
and 895 to the north-west corner of the latter
section; thence southerly by the western boundary
thereof to a point opposite to the centre of the Road
and Drain Reserve separating Sections Nos. 13589
and 3700; thence crossing the road and following
the centre of the said reserve to the River Halswell;
and thence towards the West and North-west by the
River Halswell to the Canal Reserve aforesaid, the
place of commencement.

AKAROA COUNTY.
Little River Road District.
Bounded towards the North by the Halswell Road
District, hereinbefore described, from the River Hals-
well at the centre of the Road and Drain Reserve to
the north-eastern corner of Rural Section No. 1060
(being part of the boundary between the Counties of
Selwyn and Akaroa); thence towards the North-east
by the ridge of the Port Hills and by a straight line
thence through Ll to Mount Herbert; thence again
towards the North by a straight line to Mount Her-
bert Peak; thence again towards the North-east and
North by the south sides of the Mount Herbert Peak
Road and the Purua and Akaroa Road to the junction
of the latter road with the Port Levy and Little River
Roads; thence again towards the North-east and
towards the East and South-east by the north side of
the said Port Levy and Little River Road to its junc-
tion with the Terawera Valley Road; thence by the
south side of the said Terawera Valley Road to the
Little River Railway Reserve, to and thence by the
south side of the Barry Pass Road to Barry Pass;
thence by the main ridge of hills through the said
Barry Pass, Wooded Peak, French Hill, Wainui
Peak, Kitson's Pole, Saddle Hill, and Carew's Peak
to Mount Bossu; thence by the summit of the spur
running down to the Eastern Head of Island Bay;
thence towards the South-west and South by the sea
to the mouth of Lake Ellesmere; thence towards the
North and again towards the South-west by the
southern and north-eastern shores of the said Lake
Ellesmere to the mouth of the River Halswell;
thence again towards the South-west and North by
the left bank of the Halswell River aforesaid to the
centre of the Road and Drain Reserve, the place of
commencement.

PENINSULA COUNTY.
Peninsula Road District.
Bounded towards the North-west by the Otago
Harbour; towards the North-east by Section No.
13, Upper Harbour East Survey District; thence
towards the South-east, again towards the North-east,
again towards the South-east, and again towards the
North-east by Section No. 71, Block II., Otago
Peninsula Survey District; thence again towards the
South-east by Sections Nos. 60, 1 of 61, 2 of 61,
and 62, said block and survey district; thence again
towards the North-east and towards the North-
west by the last-mentioned section; thence again
towards the North-east, across a road, and by
Section No. 52, Block III., said Otago Peninsula
Survey District, and its south-western boundary-line
produced to the ocean; thence towards the South by
the ocean to the south-eastern angle of the Borough
of Caversham; thence towards the South-west by the
said Borough of Caversham; thence again towards
the North-west by the Borough of St. Kilda; and
thence again towards the South-west by the said
Borough of St. Kilda to the said Otago Harbour.

North-East Harbour Subdivision.
Bounded towards the North-west by the Otago
Harbour from the south-west corner of Section
No. 13, Upper Harbour East Survey District, west-
ward to the south-eastern angle of Section No. 13,
Block V., Anderson's Bay Survey District; thence
towards the South-east by Section No. 12, a road-
line, Sections Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8, said
Block V., Anderson's Bay Survey District; thence
towards the South-west by the last-mentioned sec-
tion; thence again towards the South-east by a road-
line and by Section No. 1, Block VIII., Anderson's
Bay Survey District aforesaid; thence again towards
the South-west by the last-mentioned section and
Section No. 2, said Block VIII; thence towards the
South by Sections Nos. 22, 23, and 24, Block I.,
Otago Peninsula Survey District, to the intersection
of the northern boundary-line of the last-mentioned
section with the eastern boundary-line of Section
No. 44, Upper Harbour East Survey District; thence
towards the East by the production of the eastern
boundary-line of the last-mentioned section to the
Main Portobello Road; thence again towards the
South and South-east by the said Main Portobello
Road to the southernmost angle of Section No. 62,
Block II., said Otago Peninsula Survey District;
thence towards the North-east by the said Section
No. 62; thence again towards the South-east by the
said Section No. 62, and by Sections Nos. 2 of 61,
1 of 61, and 60 to the north-west corner of the last-
mentioned section; thence across a road, and again
towards the North-east and the South-east by Sec-
tion No. 71, said Block II., Otago Peninsula Survey
District; again towards the North-east, and again
towards the South-east by Section No. 71, said Block
II., Otago Peninsula Survey District; and thence
again towards the North-east by said Section No.
13, Upper Harbour East Survey District, to its south-
west corner, the starting point.

Highcliffe Subdivision.
Bounded towards the North and North-west by the
North-East Harbour Subdivision, hereinbefore de-
scribed, from the intersection of the Main Portobello
Road by the eastern boundary-line of Section No. 44,
Upper Harbour East Survey District produced, to
the southernmost angle of Section No. 62, Block II.,
Otago Peninsula Survey District; thence by the
north side of the said Main Portobello Road to its
intersection by the south-west boundary-line of
Section No. 52, Block III., said Otago Peninsula
Survey District, produced; thence towards the North-
east across the said Main Portobello Road to and by
the said south-western boundary-line of Section
No. 52, and that line produced to the ocean; thence
towards the South and South-east by the ocean;
thence again towards the North-west and North-east
by the Tomahawk Survey District to a point in line
with the said eastern boundary-line of Section
No. 44, Upper Harbour East Survey District; and
thence towards the West by a line due north to the
north side of the Main Portobello Road aforesaid,
the starting point.

Tomahawk Subdivision.
Bounded towards the North-east and South-east
by the Highcliffe Subdivision, hereinbefore described;
from the north side of the Main Portobello Road to
the ocean; thence towards the South by the ocean to
the south-eastern angle of the Borough of Caversham;
thence towards the South-west by the said Borough
of Caversham; thence towards the North-west by
the Borough of St. Kilda; thence again towards the
South-west by the said Borough of St. Kilda; thence
again towards the North-west and again towards the
North-east by the northern boundary of Block VII.,
Otago Peninsula Survey District, to the lagoon; thence
