eastern boundary of that section to its junction with
the north-eastern boundary of Section No. 259;
thence following the north-eastern boundaries of
Sections Nos. 259, 258, 257, and 254 until the Wai-
nuioru River is reached; thence in a straight line to
the Trig. Station known as Maungaraki; thence in a
straight line to the north-eastern corner of Section
No. 40, Ahiaruhe Block; thence following the
northern boundaries of Sections Nos. 40, 38, 61, 60,
58, and 56 to the point where the boundary strikes
the Pohaturiki Stream; thence down the course of
that stream to its junction with the Ruamahunga
River; thence up the course of that river to its
junction with the Waiohine River; thence following
up the course of that river to its source; thence fol-
lowing the eastern boundary of the Hutt County to
Taourakira Head, in Cook Strait; thence easterly
and northerly along the sea-coast to the point of
commencement.

Taratahi-Carterton Road District.

Bounded to the North from the mouth of the
Kaiwhata Stream by the northern boundary of
Wairarapa West County; to the West by the
Manawatu and Hutt Counties; to the South by the
Featherston Road District; to the East by the sea to
the point of commencement.

WAIMEA COUNTY.
Pokororo Road District.

Commencing at a point on the south-eastern boun-
dary of Collingwood County, as the said Collingwood
County is described in the First Schedule to "The
Counties Act, 1876," due west from the northern
corner of Section No. 62 of Square No. 9,
Motueka Survey District; and bounded thence
towards the North by a right line to the said
northern corner of the said Section No. 62 of
Square No. 9; thence towards the North-east by
the north-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 62
aforesaid, and by the north-eastern boundary-lines
of Sections Nos. 56, 57, 22, and 4 of 62 of Square
No. 9 aforesaid, Motueka Survey District; thence
across a road to the Motueka River; thence generally
towards the South-east by the said Motueka River to
Graham River; thence towards the South-west by
the said Graham River to its source; thence by a
right line to Trig. Station L; thence by a right line
between the said Trig. Station L and Trig. Station
MP, Mount Arthur Survey District, as far as the
said south-eastern boundary of Collingwood County;
and thence towards the North-west by the Colling-
wood County aforesaid to the starting point.

WAIMEA COUNTY.
Pangatotara Road District.

Bounded towards the North-east by the Pokororo
Road District, hereinbefore described, from the south-
eastern boundary of the Collingwood County, as the
said Collingwood County is described in the First
Schedule to "The Counties Act, 1876," to the
Motueka River; thence by a right line across the
said Motueka River; thence towards the North-west
by the Motueka River aforesaid to the road forming the
eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 246, 247, 248, 249,
and 250; thence towards the East by the said road;
thence across a road and by Sections Nos. 240, 239,
238, 237, 236, across a road, and by Sections Nos.
235, 234, 232, and 231; thence across a road; thence
towards the South and South-east by Sections Nos.
1 of 1 and 2 of 1 to the westernmost corner of the
said Section No. 2 of 1, all of the aforesaid sections
being in the Motueka Survey District; thence by a
right line to the south-east corner of Section No. 51;
thence towards the South-west and again generally
towards the East by Sections Nos. 41, 42, 43, 44, 45,

and 47 to the south-west corner of the said Section
No. 47; thence again towards the North-east by a
right line to the north-west corner of Section No.
82; thence again towards the East by a right line to
the southernmost angle of Section No. 151 of Wai-iti
Survey District; thence again towards the South-east
and South-west by Sections Nos. 150, 148, 147, 87,
108, and 139 to the northernmost corner of the said
Section No. 139; thence by a right line to the most
easterly corner of Section No. 10, Thorpe Suburban;
thence by said Section No. 10; thence again towards
the South-east by Section No. 10 aforesaid, and by
Sections Nos. 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1, and across
a road to the River Dove; thence across and by
that river to the north-west corner of Section
No. 88, Wai-iti Survey District aforesaid, by that
section to its south-west corner; thence by a right
line to the south-east corner of Section No. 103;
thence again towards the South-west by Section No.
104, and across a road to the Motueka River; thence
by the said Motueka River to the mouth of the River
Baton; thence by a right line due west to the south-
eastern boundary of the Collingwood County; and
thence towards the North-west by the Collingwood
County aforesaid to the starting point.

COLLINGWOOD COUNTY.
Takaka Road District.

Bounded towards the North and North-east by the
sea from the mouth of the River Pariwhaka-aho, in
Section No. 79, Square 13, Waitapu Survey District,
to Carlyle Street, in the Village of Clifton; thence
towards the East by the top of the spur between the
said Village of Clifton and Pohara Bay to the north-
western boundary of the Waimea County, as the said
Waimea County is described in the First Schedule to
"The Counties Act, 1876;" thence by the said north-
western boundary of Waimea County aforesaid to its
intersection by a right line drawn between Trig.
Station L and Trig. Station M.P; thence towards the
South-west by the said right line between Trig. Sta-
tions L and M.P, Mount Arthur Survey District, to
the latter trig. station; thence by a right line to
Mount Snowdon; thence towards the North-west by
the summit of the watershed to Slate River Peak;
and thence by a right line to the mouth of the
Pariwhaka-aho River aforesaid, the place of com-
mencement.

CHEVIOT COUNTY.
Cheviot Road District.

Bounded towards the North-east and North-west
by the south-western boundary of the County of
Marlborough, as the same is described in the First
Schedule to "The Counties Act, 1876;" thence
towards the South-east by the sea to the mouth of
the Hurunui River; thence towards the South by
the County of Ashley, as the same is described in
the New Zealand Gazette No. 61, 28th July, 1881;
and thence towards the North-west generally by the
County of Amuri, as the same is described in the
First Schedule to "The Counties Act, 1876," afore-
said.

SELWYN COUNTY.
Halswell Road District.

All that area in the Provincial District of Canter-
bury, bounded towards the North-west by the south
side of the Canal Reserve from the Halswell River to
the Heathcote River, and by the said Heathcote
River to the Colombo South Road; thence towards
the East by the said Colombo South Road and Dyer's
Pass Road to the ridge of the Port Hills; thence
towards the South-east and again towards the East by
the ridge of the Port Hills to the north-east corner
of Rural Section No. 1060; thence towards the
