the road forming the south-eastern boundaries of
Allotments Nos. 26, 25, 24, 23, 22, 21, 20A, 20, 19, and
18 of the parish aforesaid to the Waipa River; thence
towards the West by the said Waipa River northerly
from the centre of the road which forms the south-
eastern boundary of Allotment No. 18 aforesaid to the
southern side of the road leading from the Waipa River
aforesaid to the Waikato River aforesaid (said road-
line forming the eastern boundaries of Allotments
Nos. 566, 563, 562, 561, 560, 559, and 558, all of the
Township of Newcastle, the southern boundaries of
Allotments Nos. 226, 225, 224, 223, 222, and 221, Town-
ship of Newcastle aforesaid, and the eastern boun-
daries of Allotments Nos. 172, 171, 170, 169, 168, 167,
166, 165, 163, 161, 160, and 159, Township of New-
castle aforesaid).
WANGANUI COUNTY.
Wangaehu Road District.
Bounded towards the North-east by West Taupo
County, as the same is described in the First Schedule
to "The Counties Act, 1876;" thence towards the
South-east and towards the North by East Taupo
County, as the same is described in the said First
Schedule to "The Counties Act, 1876;" thence
towards the East and the South-east generally by the
centre of the Wangaehu River to its mouth; thence
towards the South-west by the shore of Cook Strait
to the mouth of the Wanganui River; thence towards
the North-west by the centre of the said Wanganui
River and by the County of Taranaki, as the same is
described in the First Schedule to "The Counties
Act, 1876," aforesaid, to West Taupo County, the
place of commencement.
Subdivision No. 1.
The boundary commences on the bank of the
Wanganui River at the north-west corner of Camp-
bell Town; thence it proceeds easterly along the
northern boundary, and southerly along the eastern
boundary of the said town to the south side of
No. 2 Road-line; thence easterly along the
south side of the said road-line to the north-east
corner of Section No. 33, Block VI., Ikitara Survey
District; thence southerly in a straight line to the
south-west corner of Section No. 34, said block and
survey district; thence easterly in a straight line to
the north-east corner of Section No. 107 of aforesaid
block and survey district; thence southerly in a
straight line to the south-west corner of Section No.
146, Block X., aforesaid survey district; thence
easterly in a straight line to the south-east corner of
Section No. 147, Block XI., aforesaid survey district;
thence northerly and easterly so as to include Section
No. 251; from the north-east corner of the said
Section No. 251 it turns southerly to the Wangaehu
River, including Sections Nos. 251 and 290 of the
aforesaid Ikitara Survey District; thence it proceeds
south-westerly along the centre of the Wangaehu
River aforesaid to its mouth; thence north-westerly
along the shore of Cook Strait to the mouth of the
Wanganui River; and thence north-easterly along
the centre of the Wanganui River aforesaid to a point
opposite to the north-west corner of Campbell Town
aforesaid; and thence to the said north-west corner
of Campbell Town, the place of commencement.
Subdivision No. 2.
The boundary commences at the south-east corner
of Section No. 42, Block VI., Ikitara Survey District;
thence it proceeds northerly along the eastern
boundary of the said Section No. 42 and its produc-
tion to the north side of No. 2 road-line; thence
easterly along the north side of the said road-line to
the south-east corner of Section No. 194, Block VIII.,
said Ikitara Survey District; thence northerly to the
south-west corner of Section No. 247, said Block
VIII.; thence easterly along the northern boundary
of Section No. 248, Block XII., Ikitara Survey
District aforesaid, to the Wangaehu River; thence
south-westerly along the centre of the said Wangaehu
River to a point opposite to the south-east corner of
Section No. 290 in Block XI., Ikitara Survey District
aforesaid; and thence to and along the eastern
boundaries of Subdivision No. 1, hereinbefore de-
scribed, to the starting point.
Subdivision No. 3.
The boundary commences at the south-west corner
of the Waipakura Native Reserve; thence it proceeds
easterly along the south boundary of the said reserve
to the source of the Kukutu Stream; thence south-
easterly in a straight line to the north corner of
Section No. 295, Block III., Ikitara Survey District;
thence southerly to the south-east corner of Section
No. 42, Block VI., said Ikitara Survey District, so as
to include within its limits Sections Nos. 295 and 293,
said Block III., Sections Nos. 292, 272, 116, 115, and
114, Block II., Ikitara Survey District aforesaid, and
Sections Nos. 113, 112, 57, and 42, Block VI. afore-
said; thence westerly along the northern boundaries
of Subdivision No. 1, hereinbefore described, to the
Wanganui River; thence northerly along the centre
of the said Wanganui River to a point opposite to
the south-west corner of the Waipakura Native
Reserve aforesaid; and thence to the said south-
west corner of the Waipakura Native Reserve, the
starting point.
Subdivision No. 4.
The boundary commences at a point on the Wanga-
nui River where the north-eastern boundary-line
of the Upokongoro Block No. 1 strikes it; thence it
proceeds southerly to the north-east corner of Sub-
division No. 3, hereinbefore described, so as to include
Upokongoro Block No. 1 aforesaid, Section No. 280,
Waipakura Survey District, and the Waipakura
Native Reserve; thence westerly along the Kukutu
Stream to the said River Wanganui; and thence it
proceeds along the centre of the River Wanganui
aforesaid to a point in line with the north-eastern
boundary-line of the Upokongoro Block No. 1 afore-
said; and thence to the north-eastern boundary-line
of that block, the starting point.
Subdivision No. 5.
The boundary commences at a point in the centre
of the Wanganui River where the north-east boun-
dary-line of Upokongoro Block No. 1 produced strikes
it; thence it proceeds northerly along the centre of
the said Wanganui River to the intersection of
Wanganui River aforesaid by the south-western
boundary-line of West Taupo County, as the same is
described in the First Schedule to "The Counties
Act, 1876;" thence south-easterly along the said
south-western boundary-line of the said West Taupo
County; thence south-westerly and easterly along
the north-western and the southern boundary-lines
of East Taupo County, as the same is described in
the First Schedule to "The Counties Act, 1876," to
the centre of the Wangaehu River; thence southerly
along the centre of the said Wangaehu River to the
Otaika Block; thence westerly along the northern
boundary-lines of the Wanganui purchased block and
the Makirikiri Stream to the south-west corner of
Section No. 279, Waipakura Survey District; and
thence northerly along the eastern boundary-lines of
Subdivision No. 4 to the starting point.
Subdivision No. 6.
The boundary commences at the north-east corner
of the Waipakura Native Reserve; thence it pro-
ceeds easterly along the southern boundaries of
Subdivision No. 5, hereinbefore described, to the
centre of the Wangaehu River; thence southerly
