THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
All that parcel of land containing by admeasure-
ment 2 roods 24 perches, being a road-line 100
links wide traversing Allotment No. 119, commencing
at the north-eastern angle of Allotment No. 119.
Bounded towards the South-east by lines, 48, 81, 134,
109, 129, 122, 60, and 15 links respectively; towards
the South-west by the Pukapuka River; towards the
North-west by other portion of Allotment No. 119,
60, 81, 83, 94, 85, 150, 122, and 10 links respectively;
and towards the North-east by a line, 111 links: be
all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is
delineated on the plan attached to the above me-
morial. The several parcels of land being situate
in the Parish of Mahurangi, in the Lower Mahurangi
Highway District, Provincial District of Auckland.
Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir
James Prendergast, Knight, Chief Justice,
the Administrator of the Government of
Her Majesty's Colony of New Zealand
and its Dependencies; and issued under
the Seal of the said Colony, at the
Government House, at Wellington, this
sixteenth day of December, in the year
of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and eighty-two.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and
authorities conferred upon me by the twentieth
section of "The Land Act 1877 Amendment Act,
1879," I, James Prendergast, Chief Justice of the
Colony of New Zealand, and Administrator of the
Government thereof, do hereby set apart the land
enumerated in the Schedule hereto for sale as a village
settlement, upon such terms and conditions as are
set forth in an Order in Council of even date here-
with, and made under the twenty-first section of the
said Act.

Terms and Conditions of Sale of the Patutahi
Village Settlement.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
sixteenth day of December, 1882.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE
GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the twenty-first section of "The
Land Act 1877 Amendment Act, 1879," it is
enacted that the Governor in Council may fix the
terms and conditions upon which the lands comprised
in any village settlement shall be disposed of, and
the mode of payment for the same: And whereas
the Governor has, by Proclamation in the New Zea-
land Gazette, bearing date the twenty-first day of
December, set apart the lands enumerated in the
Schedule hereto for sale as a village settlement:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator
of the Government, in pursuance and exercise of the
powers and authorities conferred upon him by the
hereinbefore in part recited Act, and by and with the
advice of the Executive Council of the Colony of
New Zealand, doth hereby fix the following terms
and conditions upon which the said village settle-
ment shall be disposed of, and the mode of payment
for the same, that is to say,-

The lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto
shall be open for application for cash at the Land
Offices, Auckland, Tauranga, and Gisborne, on Wed-
nesday, the thirty-first day of January, one thousand
eight hundred and eighty-three, at the prices stated
therein. -
No person shall be allowed to acquire more than
one section. -
If there should be more than one application
for any allotment, the right to purchase the same
shall be determined by lot amongst the applicants
only. -
The purchaser of any of the lands described in
the Schedule hereto, upon the full payment of the
purchase-money, will be entitled to his Crown grant,
to be issued in the usual way, upon payment of the
fees prescribed by law.
