further declare that the number of members to be
elected for each of such subdivisions shall be one
member for each subdivision, and do severally assign
the members of the Road Board now in office to the
said subdivisions in the manner set forth in the
Second Schedule hereto.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this
twenty-first day of October, 1881.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance of the powers vested in him by the
two hundred and eleventh section of "The
Counties Act, 1876," His Excellency the Governor of
the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said
colony, doth hereby extend the time appointed for
holding the election for the ensuing three years of
the Council of the County of Vincent from the
second Wednesday in the month of November next,
to Tuesday, the twenty-second day of November
next.

FIRST SCHEDULE.
LAGMHOR WARD.
BOUNDED towards the North-east by the south branch
of the River Ashburton; towards the South-east by
the Great Southern Railway; towards the South-
west by the River Hinds; towards the North-west
by the boundary between Westerfield Run and
Lagmhor Run, and the northern boundary-line of
Section No. 28782 to the Valetta Road; again
towards the South-west by said road to Black's
Road; and again towards the North-west by that
road to the River Ashburton.
WESTERFIELD WARD.
Bounded towards the North-east by the south
branch of the River Ashburton; towards the South-
east by Lagmhor Ward, before described; towards
the South-west by the River Hinds; and towards the
North-west by the Mount Somers Road District.
FORKS WARD.
Bounded towards the North-east by the north
branch of the River Ashburton from the Mount
Somers Road to the Forks; towards the South-west
by Lagmhor and Westerfield Wards, before described;
and towards the North-west and again towards the
North-east by Mount Somers Road District.
WINCHMORE WARD.
Bounded towards the North-west by Mount
Somers and Mount Hutt Road Districts; towards
the North-east by the Mount Hutt and South Rakaia
Road Districts; towards the South-east by Sections
Nos. 27970, 2196 (in red), 2197 (in red), 28074,
27910, 27909, 27908, 27907, 10093, and 10743 to the
north branch of the River Ashburton, and across said
brauch to the Forks Ward, before described; towards
the South-west by said ward to Mount Somers Road
District.
HAKATERE WARD.
Bounded towards the North-west by Winchmore
Ward, before described; towards the North-east by
the South Rakaia Road District; towards the South-
east by the Great Southern Railway and the Borough
of Ashburton; and towards the South-west by the
Forks Ward, before described.
Altering Date of Election of Councillors for certain
Counties.
