Declaring "Regulation of Local Elections Act, 1876,"
in force within the Lincoln Road District, County
of Selwyn.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue of the power vested in me by the third
section of "The Regulation of Local Elections
Act, 1876," I, Arthur Hamilton Gordon, the Governor
of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim
and declare that the said Act shall come into force,
in respect of all the elective offices of the Lincoln
Road Board, within the district known as the Lincoln
Road District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the

Vesting Reserves in the Wairoa County Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this
fifteenth day of August, 1881.

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule
hereto were reserved for ferry purposes:

And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is
expedient to vest the said land in the Chairman,
Councillors, and inhabitants of the County of
Wairoa:

Now, therefore, the Governor of the Colony of
New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of
the Executive Council of the said colony, and in
exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him
by the sixth section of "The Public Reserves Act
Amendment Act, 1878," doth hereby declare that, from
and after the day of the date hereof, the said reserves
shall become vested in the said Chairman, Councillors,
and inhabitants of the County of Wairoa, in trust for
ferry purposes.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land containing by admeasure-
ment 50 acres, more or less, and being Section No. 8
of Block X., Waiau Survey District, Provincial Dis-
trict of Auckland. Bounded towards the North by
Section No. 5, 2500 links; towards the East by
Sections Nos. 5 aforesaid and 6, 2000 links; towards
the South by Section No. 6 aforesaid, 2500 links;
and towards the West by Section No. 7, 2000 links:
be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

Also all that piece or parcel of land containing by
admeasurement 2 roods, more or less, and being
Lot No. 153 of the Town of Frasertown, Taramarama
Survey District, Provincial District of Auckland.
Bounded towards the South-east by Allotment
No. 67, 239 links; towards the South-west by Grey
Street, 472 links; and towards the North-west by
Russell Parade North, 521 links: be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less.

Opaheke and Paparata Highway Districts, County
of Manukau, abolished.

ARTHUR GORDON, Governor.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers and
authorities vested in me by an Act of the
Province of Auckland intituled "The Highways Act,
1874," and by "The Abolition of Provinces Act,
1875," I, Arthur Hamilton Gordon, the Governor of
the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby notify that I
do hereby abolish the highway districts constituted
under the said "Highways Act, 1874," and named
the Opaheke Highway District and the Paparata
Highway District.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this seventeenth day of August,
one thousand eight hundred and eighty-
one.

constituted.

ARTHUR GORDON, Governor.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers and
authorities vested in me by an Act of the Pro-
vince of Auckland intituled "The Highways Act,
1874," and by "The Abolition of Provinces Act,
1875," I, Arthur Hamilton Gordon, the Governor of
the Colony of New Zealand, hereby notify that I do
hereby create that portion of the Provincial District
of Auckland described in the Schedule hereto a
new highway district under the said "Highways Act,
1874," by the distinctive name of the Opaheke
Highway District, and I declare that the boundaries
of the said district shall be those described in the
Schedule hereto.
