- Locomotion fares will be paid by the Govern-
ment; sub-vouchers for 5s. and upwards will be re-
quired, except for railway fares, when the line
travelled must be stated. - Where circumstances may, in the opinion of the
Minister at the head of either of the above depart-
ments, require a temporary special allowance, he may
from time to time fix the same in each case at his
discretion; but in no instance is such temporary
special allowance to exceed the rate fixed by the
Civil Service regulations in force for the time being.
