IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and autho-
rities vested in it by the fourteenth section of
"The Public Health Act, 1876," the Central Board
of Health has appointed

JAMES MCCOSH CLARK, Esq.,
the Mayor of the City of Auckland;

FREDERICK ERNEST COMPTON, Esq.,
the Chairman of the Auckland Harbour Board; and

ISAAC JAMES BURGESS, Esq.,
Harbourmaster of the Port of Auckland, to be a
Local Board of Health for the Port of Auckland;
and has defined the limits within which such Local
Board shall have jurisdiction to be the Port of Auck-
land, as defined in a Proclamation dated the 24th
June, 1872, and published in the New Zealand
Gazette, 1872, page 619, including the Island of
Motu The. To take effect from the 20th June, 1881.
