containing by estimation 17,000 acres, more or less,
known by the name of Waimata South. Bounded
on the North by the Mangaorangi Creek and the
Waimata East Block; thence on the East by the
Whangara Block and Tawerawera Creek and Pouawa
Block; thence on the South by the Makahakaha
Creek and Waimata River; thence on the West by
the Waimata River to the starting point: save and
excepting 4,465 acres, more or less, now held in free-
hold tenure by the Crown; as shown by the plan of
the block in the Survey Office, Auckland.
thence on the West by a surveyed line from the
Hangaroa-Matawai Block to Mokonui-o-rangi, thence
by a straight surveyed line to Mangatapore, the
starting point: save and excepting 16,566 acres, more
or less, now held in freehold tenure by the Crown;

WAIMATA WEST.
All that block or parcel of land in the Poverty
Bay District, in the Provincial District of Auckland,
containing by admeasurement 10,569 acres, more or
less, known by the name of Waimata West. Bounded
on the North by surveyed lines from the mouth of
Tapuitau Creek to the junction of the Hukanui
Creek with Te Mini Creek, thence by surveyed lines
to Pukenohi, thence by surveyed lines to Makiri and
by the Waihora No. 2 Block and Waimata North
Block; thence on the East by the Waimata North
Block, the Mangahouka Creek, and Waimata River;
thence on the South by the Mangatupehau Creek and
surveyed line to Te Kopa-a-Tuaki; thence on the
West by the Ngakaroa Block and Mangataikehu
Creek to the starting point: save and excepting 8,520
acres, more or less, now held in freehold tenure by
the Crown; as shown by the plan of the block in the
Survey Office, Auckland.
HANGAROA-MATAWAI NO. 1.
All that block or parcel of land in the Upper
Wairoa District, in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 4,200 acres,
more or less, known by the name of Hangaroa
Matawai No. 1. Bounded on the North by Oka-
huatiu No. 2 Block; thence on the East by the
Patutahi Block; thence on the South by the Hanga-
roa River; thence on the West by the Papokeka
Stream and the Hangaroa-Matawai Block: save and
excepting 3,269 acres, more or less, now held in free-
hold tenure by the Crown; as shown by the plan of
the block in the Survey Office, Auckland.
WAIKOHU-MATAWAI.
All that block or parcel of land in the Poverty
Bay District, in the Provincial District of Auckland,
containing by admeasurement 43,479 acres, more or
less, known by the name of Waikohu-Matawai.
Bounded on the North by the Motu Block and the
Rangariri River; thence on the East by the Waikohu
Block and the Hihiroroa Block; thence on the South
by the Wharekopae Block; thence on the West by
the Koranga River to the starting point: save and
excepting 41,479 acres, more or less, now held in free-
hold tenure by the Crown; as shown by the plan of
the block in the Survey Office, Auckland.
WHAKAONGAONGA.
All that block or parcel of land in the Upper
Wairoa District, in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 18,640 acres,
more or less, known by the name of Whakaongaonga.
Bounded on the North by the Hangaroa River, the
Patutahi Block, and the Waimata Native Reserve;
thence on the East by surveyed lines from Whaka-
ongaonga to Te Pahanga-o-te-Kanawhiti; thence on
the South by surveyed lines to Kokohuikahawai and
Te Haka-o-Tumakokiri; thence on the West by
surveyed lines to Te Ahimanu, and thence by the
Waiau Block and the Kaikoura Stream to its junc-
tion with the Hangaroa River, the starting point:
save and excepting 12,418 acres, more or less, now
held in freehold tenure by the Crown; as shown by
the plan of the block in the Survey Office, Auckland.
MOTU.
All that block or parcel of land in the Poverty
Bay District, in the Provincial District of Auckland,
containing by admeasurement 67,982 acres, more or
less, known by the name of Motu. Bounded on the
North by the Motu River and Whakapaupakihi
Creek, thence by surveyed lines to Pokairiki, thence
by a straight surveyed line crossing Te Moanui to the
Koronga River; thence on the West by the Koronga
River; thence on the South by the Waikohu-Matawai
Block and the Rangariri River; thence on the East
by a straight surveyed line to the Kaitaura Creek,
thence by the said creek to its junction with the
Motu River, the starting point: save and excepting
63,392 acres, more or less, now held in freehold tenure
by the Crown; as shown by the plan of the block in
the Survey Office, Auckland.
TUAHU.
All that block or parcel of land in the Upper
Wairoa District, in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 10,852 acres,
more or less, known by the name of Tuahu. Bounded
on the North by the Makokomuka Stream; thence
on the East by the Tauwharetoi Block; thence on
the South and West by the Ruakituri River to the
starting point: save and excepting 9,250 acres, more
or less, now held in freehold by the Crown; as
shown by the plan of the block in the Survey Office,
Auckland.
WHAREKOPAE.
All that block or parcel of land in the Poverty
Bay District, in the Provincial District of Auckland,
containing by admeasurement 33,738 acres, more or
less, known by the name of Wharekopae. Bounded on
the North by the Waikohu-Matawai Block; thence
on the East by the Hihiroroa Block, the Hihiroroa
Stream, the Okahuatiu No. 1 Block, and the Whare-
kopae Stream; thence on the South by the Okahua-
tiu No. 2 Block and the Hangaroa-Matawai Block;
TAUWHARETOI.
All that block or parcel of land in the Upper
Wairoa District, in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 60,680 acres,
more or less, known by the name of Tauwharetoi.
Bounded on the North and East by the Hangaroa
River; thence on the South by the Ruakituri River;
thence on the West by the Tuahu Block, thence by
surveyed lines from Kakahu-o-Murau to Puku-
manuku, thence by the Ponui Creek to the starting
point: save and excepting 50,389 acres, more or less,
now held in freehold tenure by the Crown; as shown
by the plan of the block in the Survey Office, Auck-
land.
TE PARITU.
All that block or parcel of land in the Poverty
Bay District, in the Provincial District of Auckland,
containing by admeasurement 12,142 acres, more or
less, known by the name of Te Paritu. Bounded on
the North by surveyed line from Whakamaumau to
Wharerata; thence by the Whareongaonga Native
Reserve; thence on the East by the sea to Takararea;
