Vesting the Papakura Library Reserve.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
fourteenth day of June, 1881.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule
hereto was reserved as a site for a public
library: And whereas the Papakura Literary Insti-
tute was registered in the office of the Supreme
Court at Auckland, and incorporated, in pursuance
of "The Public Libraries Powers Act, 1875," on the
twelfth day of July, one thousand eight hundred
and seventy-nine, under the name of the Papakura
Literary Institute: And whereas, in the opinion of
the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said land in
the said Papakura Literary Institute (Incorporated):
Now, therefore, the Governor of the Colony of
New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of
the Executive Council of the said colony, and in
exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him
by the sixth section of "The Public Reserves Act
Amendment Act, 1878," doth hereby declare that,
from and after the day of the date hereof, the said
reserve shall become vested in the said Papakura
Literary Institute (Incorporated), in trust, for the
purposes of a public library.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece or parcel of land containing by ad-
measurement 1 rood 2 perches, more or less, and
being Allotment No. 115, Section No. 11, of the Vil-
lage of Papakura, in the Parish of Opaheke, Drury
Survey District. Bounded towards the North-east
by a road-line, 215 links; towards the South-east by
Allotment No. 116, 200 links; towards the West by
the Great South Road, 280 links; and towards the
North-west by a road-line, 39 links: be all the afore-
said linkages more or less.

whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient
to vest the said land in the Chairman, Councillors,
and inhabitants of the County of Westland:
Now, therefore, the Governor of the Colony of
New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of
the Executive Council of the said colony, and in
exercise of the powers and authorities vested in
him by the sixth section of "The Public Reserves
Act Amendment Act, 1878," doth hereby declare
that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the
said reserves shall become vested in the said Chair-
man, Councillors, and inhabitants of the County of
Westland.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land containing 96 acres 1 rood
19 perches, more or less, being Reserve No. 225
(in red), Block I., on the map of the Totara Survey
District. Bounded towards the South by the Ross
and Okarito Road, 228 links and 59 links, and by
Section No. 1985, 3782 links; towards the West by
Crown lands, 2800 links; towards the North by
Section No. 195, 2921 links; and towards the East
by Section No. 5, 2906 links: be all the aforesaid
linkages a little more or less.
All that parcel of land containing 3 acres 2 roods
21 perches, more or less, being Reserve No. 238 (in
red), Block I., on the map of the Totara Survey Dis-
trict. Bounded towards the South by the Ross and
Okarito Road, 535 links; towards the West by Sec-
tion No. 5, 940 links; and towards the North and
East by road along the Mikonui River, 1300 links:
be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less.
All that parcel of land containing 100 acres, more
or less, being Reserve No. 226 (in red), Block XII.,
on the map of the Waitaha Survey District. Bounded
towards the South-east by the Ross and Okarito Road,
1400 links; towards the East by the road along the
Waitaha River, 4610 links; towards the North-west
by Crown lands, 2924 links; and towards the South-
west by a line at right angles with Ross and Okarito
Road, 4000 links: be all the aforesaid linkages a little
more or less.
All that parcel of land containing 100 acres, more
or less, being Reserve No. 237 (in red), Block VIII.,
on the map of the Abbey Rocks Survey District.
Bounded towards the North by Sections Nos. 2009
and 2101; towards the West by Section No. 1733;
towards the South by a straight line parallel with
south boundary of Section No. 2009; and towards the
East by the road reserve along the Paringa River:
be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less.
All that parcel of land containing 18 acres and
8 perches, more or less, being Reserve No. 214 (in
red), Block VII., on the map of the Turiwhati Survey
District. Bounded towards the North by Christ-
church Road and by Section No. 1591, 950 links;
towards the East by Section No. 1591, by road re-
serves along the Taipo River, and by a straight line
across the Taipo River, 1900 links; towards the
South by Section No. 2081, 950 links; and towards
the West by Christchurch Road, by Section No. 1948,
by road reserves along Taipo River, by straight line
across said river, and by Section No. 1734, 1900
links: be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or
less.
All that parcel of land containing 175 acres, more
or less, being Reserve No. 230 (in red), Block I., on
the map of the Waiho Survey District. Bounded
towards the North by Reserve No. 61 (in red), and
by road along the Waiho River; towards the East
by a line due north and south; towards the South by
a line due east and west; and towards the West by
the road along the sea-coast.
All that parcel of land containing 175 acres, more
or less, being Reserve No. 232 (in red), Block IV.,
on the map of the Bruce Bay Survey District.
Bounded towards the North by the road along the
O-te-au-tumua Lagoon and the Karangarua River;
towards the South-east by a line bearing due south-
west, 4000 links; and towards the South-west by a
straight line bearing due north-west.
All that parcel of land containing 250 acres, more
or less, being Reserve No. 233 (in red), Block XIII.,
on the map of the Gillespie's Survey District.
Bounded towards the West by Native Reserve No.
14 (in red), and by the road along the Weheka
Lagoon; towards the North by a line running due
east; towards the East by a line running due south;
and towards the South by the road along the Weheka
River.
All that parcel of land containing 105 acres, more
or less, being Reserve No. 236 (in red), Block VII.,
on the map of the Arawata Survey District. Bounded
