All that parcel of land at Porotawhao, in the District of Manawatu, in the Provincial District of Wellington, known by the name of Manawatu Kukutauaki No. 7B, containing by admeasurement 730 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the North-east by the Manawatu Kukutauaki No. 7A Block, 18998 links; towards the East by the Manawatu Kukutauaki No. 3 Block, 5869 links; towards the South-west by the Manawatu Kukutauaki No. 7c Block, 24316 links; and towards the North-west by the Manawatu Kukutauaki No. 7D Block, 3375 links.

MANAWATU KUKUTAUKI NO. 7C.

All that parcel of land at Porotawhao, in the District of Manawatu, in the Provincial District of Wellington, known by the name of Manawatu Kukutauaki No. 7c, containing by admeasurement 731 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the North-east by the Manawatu Kukutauaki No. 7B Block, 24316 links; towards the East by the Manawatu Kukutauaki No. 3 Block, 4367 links; towards the South-west by the Horowhenua Block, 28110 links; and towards the North-west by the Manawatu Kukutauaki No. 7D Block, 2822 links.

NGAKARORO NO. 1B.

All that parcel of land at Otaki, in the District of Otaki, in the Provincial District of Wellington, known by the name of Ngakaroro No. 1B, containing by admeasurement 6,138 acres 2 roods 32 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the North-east by the Wairarapa Block, the Ngakaroro No. 1c Block, and the said Wairarapa Block, 57003 links; towards the South-east by the Tararua Block, 18000 links; towards the South-west by the Ngakaroro No. 2E Block, 51758 links; and towards the North-west by the Ngakaroro No. 1A Block, 10156 links.

OHAU NO. 2.

All that parcel of land at Ohau, in the District of Manawatu, in the Provincial District of Wellington, known by the name of Ohau No. 2, containing by admeasurement 6,361 acres 1 rood 13 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the North-east by the Muhunoa No. 1 Block and the Muhunoa No. 2 Block, 67627 links; towards the South-east by a line, 4915 links; towards the South-west by a line, 66423 links; and towards the North-west by the Ohau No. 3 Block, 14204 links.

NGAWHAKANGUTU NO. 2.

All that parcel of land at Otaki, in the District of Otaki, in the Provincial District of Wellington, known by the name of Ngawhakangutu No. 2, containing by admeasurement 4,443 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the North-east by the Ngakaroro No. 2F Block and the Ngakaroro No. 2A Block, 69568 links; towards the South-west by the Manganui Block and the Ngarara Block, 70711 links; and towards the North-west by the Ngawhakangutu No. 1 Block, 12773 links.

MUAUPOKO (PART OF).

All that parcel of land at Ngarara, in the District of Manawatu, in the Provincial District of Wellington, containing by admeasurement 983 acres, more or less, being a portion of the block known as Muaupoko. Bounded towards the North by unsurveyed Native land; towards the East by other portion of said Muaupoko Block; towards the South by unsurveyed Crown lands; and towards the West by unsurveyed Native lands.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Honorable Arthur Hamilton Gordon, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Her Majesty’s High Commissioner for the Western Pacific, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this fourteenth day of June, in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-one.

Lands declared to be Waste Lands of the Crown.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto have been purchased out of the sums authorized under “The Immigration and Public Works Act, 1870,” and Acts amending the same, to be issued and expended in the purchase of lands in the North Island of New Zealand, and it is expedient that the said lands should be declared to be waste lands of the Crown:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur Hamilton Gordon, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, being satisfied that the lands described in the Schedule hereto are free from Native claims and all difficulties in connection therewith, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the seventeenth section of “The Waste Lands Administration Act, 1876,” and the twenty-eighth section of “The Land Act 1877 Amendment Act, 1879,” and all other authorities enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare the said lands to be waste lands of the Crown, subject, except as in the first-mentioned Act provided, to be sold and dealt with according to the provisions of the laws regulating the sale and disposal of waste lands of the Crown in force in the Land District of Auckland.

SCHEDULE.

POKAIWHENUA AND HUIHUITAHA.

All that parcel of land in the District of Waikato, in the Provincial District of Auckland, known by the names of Pokaiwhenua and Huihuitaha, containing by admeasurement 11,386 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the North-east by the Kurunui and Pokaiwhenua Streams and the Mangakaretu Block 14446 links, the Pokaiwhenua Stream aforesaid, and the Waioraka Stream; towards the South-west by lines 29316 links, the Waipa Stream, and again by lines 25309 links; and towards the North-west by the Waikato River and the Waipa and Okoroire Block, 31647 links: excepting out of the hereinbefore-described area two blocks of Native land, each containing 500 acres, more or less.

TOKOROA (PART OF).

All that parcel of land in the District of Waikato, in the Provincial District of Auckland, being a portion of the Tokoroa Block, containing by admeasurement 17,865 acres, more or less. Bounded by a line commencing at a point called Pukirimu, on the southern boundary of the Tokoroa Block; thence in a north-easterly direction towards Takapoa, 153 chains; thence in a due westerly direction, 788 chains; thence in a south-westerly direction, 260 chains 50 links; thence to a trig. station called Ngapuketurua, 91 chains 50 links; thence in an easterly direction to a trig. station, No. 807, called Uraura, 472 chains 98 links; thence continuing in an easterly direction to the point of commencement, 360 chains 91 links.
