Bounded towards the North-east by a line, about
16500 links; towards the East by a line, about
48600 links; towards the South by a line, about
26400 links; and towards the West by lines, by a
curve of 80 chains radius from Wainui Trig. Station,
to the summit of the main range, by a line, and by
the Maungatukutuku Creek, about 98000 links: as
the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the
office of the Chief Surveyor, Wellington. Excepting
and always reserving any Native reserves or other
allotted sections of land falling within the said area.
For the growth and preservation of timber.
All that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial
District of Wellington, containing about 31,400 acres,
in the Rimutaka, Wairarapa, Onoke, Pencarrow, and
Belmont Survey Districts. Bounded towards the
North by a railway reserve and by a line, about
30200 links; towards the East by lines parallel to
the western boundaries of Sections Nos. 85, 86, 87,
74, 73, 72, 71, 60, 59, 58, 51, 40, 36, 32, and 21 in the
Western Lake Block, about 136400 links; towards
the South by a line, about 21900 links; and towards
the West by a line, by the proposed Wellington
Waterworks Reserve, and by the summit of the
western watershed of the Pakuratahi River, about
148,600 links: as the same is delineated on the plan
deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Wel-
lington. Excepting and always reserving any Native
reserves or other allotted sections of land falling
within the said area. For the growth and preserva-
tion of timber.
Heringa Survey District. For the growth and pre-
servation of timber.
All that area in the Provincial District of Marl-
borough, containing approximately 6,800 acres, being
a strip of land two miles in width, the centre
line of which is the dividing range between Kenepuru Sound
and Clova and Crail Bays, extending from one mile
northward to three miles southward of Mount Stokes;
thence westerly along the said range one mile in
width for a distance of three miles. For the growth
and preservation of timber.
All that area in the Provincial District of Marl-
borough, containing approximately 7,000 acres, being
a strip of land one mile in width, the centre line of
which is the dividing range between the Wakamarina
and Pelorus Rivers, commencing at Trig. Station H,
in the Wakamarina Survey District, to Mount Fish-
tail. For the growth and preservation of timber.
MARLBOROUGH.
All that area in the Provincial District of Marl-
borough, containing approximately 11,500 acres,
being a strip of land two miles in width, the centre
line of which is the summit of the dividing range
between the sources of the Rai River and the streams
running into Tennyson Inlet, Nydia Bay, and Kerr's
Valley, commencing at Elliott Peak and running
southerly and westerly for a distance of ten miles.
For the growth and preservation of timber.
All that area in the Provincial District of Marl-
borough, containing approximately 5,760 acres, being
a strip of land one mile in width, the centre line of
which is the summit of the dividing range between
the Kaituna and Wakamarina Rivers, commencing
at Trig. Station Takorika, Wakamarina Survey Dis-
trict, and terminating at Trig. Station Mount Riley,
Onamalutu Survey District. For the growth and
preservation of timber.
All that area in the Provincial District of Marl-
borough, containing approximately 37,100 acres,
being a strip of land two miles in width, the centre
line of which is the summit of the dividing range
between the Wairau and Pelorus Rivers, commencing
at Trig. Station Mount Riley, Onamalutu Survey
District, and terminating at Mount Rintoul. For
the growth and preservation of timber.
All that area in the Provincial District of Marl-
borough, containing approximately 960 acres, being
a strip of land one mile in width, the centre line of
which is the dividing range between the Tua Marina
River and Cloudy Bay, extending along the range
one-half mile to the north of Trig. Station X. on
Mount Robertson, Linkwater Survey District, and
one mile to the south of said trig. station. For the
growth and preservation of timber.
All that area in the Provincial District of Marl-
borough, containing approximately 12,800 acres,
being a strip of land one mile in width on the
eastern slope of the range dividing the districts of
Marlborough and Nelson, generally parallel with
and one mile from the crest of the range from
Mount McLaren to Trig. Station Kaituamauma,
All that area in the Provincial District of Marl-
borough, containing approximately 6,000 acres, being
a strip of land one mile in width, the centre line of
which is the dividing range between the Kaituna and
Tuamarina Rivers, commencing at Trig. Station Z,
Linkwater Survey District, and terminating at Trig.
Station H, Cloudy Bay Survey District. For the
growth and preservation of timber.
CANTERBURY.
All that parcel of land containing 7,200 acres,
more or less, situated in the Mount Thomas Survey
District, Provincial District of Canterbury, being a
block of land south-west of the River Okuku, 450
chains from north-west to south-east and 160 chains
from north-east to south-west. For the growth and
preservation of timber.
All that parcel of land containing 6,000 acres,
more or less, situated in the Mount Thomas and
Upper Ashley Survey Districts, Provincial District
of Canterbury, being a block of land south-east of
the River Ashley. Bounded — Generally South-
easterly by right lines respectively, 330 chains and.
260 chains or thereabouts; North-east by a line, 115
chains or thereabouts; North-west by lines parallel
to the south-eastern boundary and 110 chains distant
therefrom; and on the South-west by a line at right
angies to the south-east boundary, being about 47
chains distant on the average from the River Ashley :
save and excepting freehold land within the above-
described boundaries. For the growth and preserva-
tion of timber.
All that parcel of land containing 432 acres, more
or less, situated in the Kowai Survey District, Pro-
vincial District of Canterbury, being a rectangular
block of land 80 chains from east to west and 54
chains from north to south, the south-east corner
being about 7 chains west of the northernmost corner
of Section No. 31859. For the growth and preserva-
tion of timber.
All that parcel of land containing 5,735 acres,
more or less, situated in the Alford, Spaxton, Somers,
and Hutt Survey Districts, Provincial District of
Canterbury. Bounded on the South-east by Edu-
cational Reserve No. 1116 (in red), also by Section
No. 30091; on the South-west by a line running in a
north-westerly direction from the westernmost corner
of Section No. 30091; on the North-east by the north
branch of the River Ashburton, also by a line 140
chains distant from and parallel to the south-west
boundary; and on the North-west by a line at right
angies to the south-west boundary drawn from a
point thereon being 415 chains from the westernmost
corner of Section No. 30001. For the growth and
preservation of timber.
