Sections Nos. 5 aforesaid and 6, 2000 links; towards
the South by Section No. 6 aforesaid, 2500 links;

OTAGO.
All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of
Otago, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods
21 perches, more or less, situated in the Town of
Kurow, and being Sections respectively Nos. 9, 10,
11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 of Block V. of said town.
Bounded towards the North-west by Sections Nos. 8
and 16 of said Block V., 500 links; towards the North-
east by Souton Street, 376.2 links; towards the
South-east by Bridge Street, 500 links; and towards
the South-west by Robinson Street, 376.2 links: be
all the aforesaid linkages more or less. For a site
for a school.

WHEREAS by the one hundred and forty-fourth
section of "The Land Act, 1877," it is enacted
that the Governor may from time to time, either by
general or particular description, and whether the
same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale
temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be
then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands
which, in his opinion, are required for any of the
purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur Hamilton Gordon, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise
and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested
in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve
from sale the land in the Land Districts of Auckland,
Taranaki, Hawke's Bay, Wellington, Marlborough,
Canterbury, Otago, and Southland, described in the
Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the
said Schedule specified.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND.
ALL that parcel of land situated in Blocks X. and
XI., Kaeo Survey District, Provincial District of
Auckland, containing 2,112 acres, more or less.
Bounded towards the North by a road and line
14500 links, and by the Mokau No. 2 Block 375
links and 3950 links; towards the North-east by the
Mokau Nos. 1 and 2 Blocks, and by land granted to
James Shepherd, 10100 links; towards the East by a
line, 1300 links; towards the South by a line, 30850
links; and towards the West and North-west by a
line and by a road, 4250 links, 2470 links, 1022 links,
and 1968 links, to the point of commencement. For
the growth and preservation of timber.
All that parcel of land situated in Block XIII.,
Omapere Survey District, Provincial District of
Auckland, containing 640 acres. Bounded towards
the North by a line, 8000 links; towards the East by
a line, 8000 links; towards the South by a line, 8000
links; and towards the West by a line, 8000 links.

All that parcel of land situated in the Whangape
Survey District, Provincial District of Auckland,
containing 4,660 acres, more or less. Bounded towards

XIII., Punakitere Survey District, Provincial Dis-
trict of Auckland, containing 928 acres, more or less.
Bounded towards the East by a line, 17800 links;
towards the South by a line, 8000 links; towards the
West by a line, 6300 links; and towards the North-
west by Native land, 10450 links, 2350 links, and
1100 links, to the point of commencement. For the
growth and preservation of timber.
All that parcel of land situated in Blocks V., IX.,
and X., Waoku Survey District, Provincial District
of Auckland, containing 3,510 acres, more or less.
Bounded towards the North by lines, 25000 links
and 20600 links; towards the East by a line, 8000
