nor shall, as soon as conveniently may be after the
passing of the said Act, by Proclamation in the
Government Gazette, define such territorial divisions
as he may think proper to be licensing districts for
the purposes of the said Act, and from time to time
may alter and redefine the boundaries of the same:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur Hamilton Gordon, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pur-
suance of the provisions of the hereinbefore recited
Act, and of every power and authority enabling me
in this behalf, do hereby define the boundaries of the
District of Pukekura, as the same are defined and set
forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
BOUNDED towards the North by the Waikato River;
towards the South-east by the confiscation boundary-
line as far as the eastern angle of the Parish of
Puniu; towards the South-west and South by the
Parish of Puniu aforesaid to the south-eastern
angle of Allotment No. 181 of the Parish of Ngaroto;
thence towards the West and again towards the
South by the Parish of Ngaroto aforesaid to the
western side of the road which forms the western
boundary of Allotment No. 301 of the Parish of Te
Rapa; and again towards the West by the western
side of the road last described to the north-western
angle of Allotment No. 305 of the Parish of Te Rapa
aforesaid; thence crossing the said road to its east-
ern side at the angle before mentioned; thence by
eastern side of said road to Mystery Creek, and by
said creek to the Waikato River, the place of
commencement.

Honorable Arthur Hamilton Gordon,
Knight Grand Cross of the Most Dis-
tinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Her Majesty's High
Commissioner for the Western Pacific,
Governor and Commander-in-Chief in
and over Her Majesty's Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-
Admiral of the same; and issued under
the Seal of the said Colony, at the
Government House, at Wellington, this
twenty-fifth day of May, in the year of
our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and eighty-one.

Terms and Conditions of Sale of the Village Settle-
ment of Wrey's Bush, Southland Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
twenty-fifth day of May, 1881.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the twenty-first section of "The
Land Act 1877 Amendment Act, 1879," it is
enacted that the Governor in Council may fix the
terms and conditions upon which the lands comprised
in any village settlement shall be disposed of, and
the mode of payment for the same: And whereas
His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New
Zealand has, by Proclamation in the New Zealand
Gazette, bearing date this twenty-sixth day of May, set
apart the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto
for sale as a village settlement:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of
the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exer-
cise of the powers and authorities conferred upon
him by the hereinbefore in part recited Act, and by
and with the advice of the Executive Council of the
Colony of New Zealand, doth hereby fix the following
terms and conditions upon which the said village
settlement shall be disposed of, and the mode of pay-
ment for the same, that is to say, -
- The lands enumerated in the Schedules hereto
shall be disposed of as small-farm allotments. - The day upon which the lands shall be open for
application shall be Wednesday, the twenty-ninth
day of June, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-
one, at the Land Office, Invercargill. - The lands enumerated in the First Schedule
hereto shall be sold for cash immediately on purchase,
and the lands enumerated in the Second Schedule
hereto shall be sold on deferred payments. - The lands which are disposed of by sale upon
deferred payments shall be subject to the provisions
relating to suburban lands of Part III. of "The Land
Land set apart for the Village Settlement of Wrey's
Bush, Southland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and au-
thorities conferred upon me by the twentieth
section of "The Land Act 1877 Amendment Act,
1879," I, Arthur Hamilton Gordon, the Governor of
the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the
lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto for sale as
a village settlement, upon such terms and conditions
as are set forth in an Order in Council of even date
herewith, and made under the twenty-first section of
the said Act.
