Land set apart for the Village Settlement of Mount Hyde, Otago.

(L.S.) A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the twentieth section of “The Land Act 1877 Amendment Act, 1879,” I, Arthur Hamilton Gordon, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto for sale as a village settlement, upon such terms and conditions as are set forth in an Order in Council of even date herewith, and made under the twenty-first section of the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Provincial District of Otago, containing by admeasurement 435 acres and 15 perches, more or less, situate in the Mount Hyde District, being respectively Sections Nos. 1 to 33 Block XII., on the map of the said district. Bounded towards the North by a road-line, 4429 links; towards the East and North-east by a road-line, 11842·4 links; towards the South by a road-line and Block IV., Mount Hyde District, 3191·6 links and 1540·9 links respectively; towards the West by Block III., Mount Hyde District, 4676·6 links, a road-line 2248·2 links and 2396·9 links, and intersected by four road-lines each 100 links wide: as the same is more particularly delineated on the maps in the Survey Office, Dunedin.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Honorable Arthur Hamilton Gordon, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Her Majesty’s High Commissioner for the Western Pacific, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this seventeenth day of May, in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-one.

(L.S.) A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section fifty-three of “The Land Act, 1877,” I, Arthur Hamilton Gordon, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamations enumerated in the First Schedule hereto in so far as they relate to the lands named in the Second Schedule hereto; and I do further proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Second Schedule aforesaid shall, from the day of the date hereof, be withdrawn from the operation of the deferred-payment system.
