boundaries of which commence at the point where

described parcel of land meet, and extend from
thence on a bearing 232° 56', 1060-6 links; and from
thence on a bearing 240° 49', 568-9 links; and from
thence on a bearing 211° 16', 1210-2 links, to the
northern boundary of Section No. 34; and from
thence on a bearing 211° 16', 211·1 links; and from
thence on a bearing 224° 16', 438·8 links; and from
thence on a bearing 232° 17', 1908·3 links; and from
thence on a bearing 274° 17', 141·4 links; and from
thence on a bearing 229° 17', 650 links; and from
thence on a bearing 210° 31', 948·7 links; and from
thence on a bearing 280° 5', 235·3 links; and from
thence on a bearing 243° 38', 519·5 links; and from
thence on a bearing 254° 56' across the boundary of
the said Section No. 34 into the said Section No. 67,
700 links; and from thence on a bearing 262° 3',
286-3 links, to the eastern boundary of Section No.
26 in the said district; and from thence southerly
along the said eastern boundary a distance of 100-8
links; the eastern boundaries of the parcel of land
now described being parallel to the western boun-
daries at a distance of 100 links measured easterly
upon a line perpendicular to any part of the western
boundaries thereof.
A parcel of land 61 links wide by 500 links long
forming part of the said Sections Nos. 34 and 67,
the western boundary thereof commencing at a
point on the western boundary of the said Section
No. 34, 2271-1 links from the southern corner of the
said Section No. 34, and extending from thence
along the western boundary of the said Sections
Nos. 34 and 67, 500 links; and the eastern boundary
thereof being parallel to and distant 61 links easterly
from the said western boundary.
A parcel of land 25 links wide forming part of the
Section No. 26, in the Wainuiomata District, and
extending across the said section from the eastern
to the western boundaries thereof, the southern
boundary of which said parcel of land now described
commences at the eastern boundary of the said
Section No. 26 at a point measured 1858-6 links
along such eastern boundary from the southern
boundary of the said Section No. 26, and extends
from thence on a bearing 87° 27′ 33″, 3429-6 links to
the western boundary of the said Section No. 26;
and the northern boundary of which is distant
northerly 25 links measured perpendicularly from
such southern boundary.
A parcel of land 25 links wide forming part of
the Section No. 2 in the said district, and being a
direct continuation westerly of the parcel of land
lastly hereinbefore described from the western boun-
dary of the said Section No. 26, and on the same
bearing, for a distance on the northern side of
1357-3 links until it reaches a road running through
the said Section No. 2.
A parcel of land 25 links wide forming part of
the Sections Nos. 1 and 2, in the Wainuiomata Dis-
trict, the northern boundary of which commences at
a point measured westerly 1011-1 links along the
northern boundary of the said Section No. 1 from
the north-east corner thereof, and extending easterly
from thence through the said Section No. 1 on a
bearing 312° 16' 8", 511-7 links; and from thence
on a bearing 293° 58', 1212 links, through the said
Sections Nos. 1 and 2 to the road running through
the said Section No. 2; the southern boundary of
the parcel of land now described being formed by
lines parallel to and distant southerly 25 links
measured as aforesaid from the said northern boun-
dary-line.
A parcel of land containing 3 roods 16 perches
forming part of the Section No. 8, in the Lowry Bay
District. Bounded on the Southward by part of the
southern boundary of the said section for a distance
of 356-8 links measured from the point where the
northern side of the Wainuiomata Road crosses the
said southern boundary; and from thence north-
westerly on a bearing 312° 16' 8", for a distance of
782-7 links; and from thence southerly along the
said Wainuiomata Road 540-8 links to the com-
mencing point.
A parcel of land 25 links wide forming part of the
Section No. 7, in the Lowry Bay District; the
northern boundary of which commences at a point
measured 980-3 links westerly along the Wainuio-
mata Road from the point where the western side
of a district road running through the said section
joins the said Wainuiomata Road, and extending from
thence north-westerly on a bearing 152° 31′ 40″ a
distance of 2523-9 links; the southern boundary of
the said parcel of land being distant from the
northern boundary thereof 25 links measured as afore-.
said.
A parcel of land containing 2 acres 1 rood form-
ing part of the said Section No. 7, Lowry Bay
District. Bounded on the South-west by part of
the south-western boundary of the said section, such
boundary commencing at a point measured south-
easterly 459-5 links from the north-western ex-
tremity of such boundary; and from thence south-
easterly 700 links along such boundary; from thence
north-easterly on a bearing 246° 24', 642-8 links;
and from thence easterly on a bearing 293° 51',
950-2 links to the commencing point.
A parcel of land 25 links wide, the northern boun-
dary of which starts from a point measured 488-9
links from the north-western extremity of the south-
western boundary of the said Section No. 7, Lowry
Bay District, and extending westerly therefrom on a
bearing 299° 4' through the Sections Nos. 19 and
16, Lowry Bay District, and Section No. 21, in the
Harbour District, and across the northern boundary
of the said last-mentioned section to a point on
Section No. 77, in the Hutt District, measured
3792-7 links from the starting point; and from
thence easterly on a bearing 299° 22′ further through
the said Section No. 77, in the Hutt District, to the
western boundary thereof, 2449-4 links; the southern
boundary of the said parcel of land now described
being distant from the northern boundary thereof
25 links measured as aforesaid.
A parcel of land 25 links wide and formed by the
extension westerly on a bearing 299° 22′ of the north-
ern and southern boundaries of the parcel of land
lastly described from the western boundary of the
said Section No. 77, Hutt District, through Section
No. 15, Hutt District, to a point on the Hutt Race-
course measured on the north side 1641-4 links from
the eastern boundary of the said racecourse, and
extending from thence westerly on a bearing 288°
30' to a point in Section No. 11, Hutt District,
measured on the northern side 883-4 links from the
eastern boundary of the said Section No. 11; and
from thence on a bearing 81° 39' across the two
branches of the river Hutt to the south-western
corner of Section No. 10, Hutt District. Be all the
aforesaid linkages more or less; and the same being
more particularly delineated on the map attached to
the memorial above referred to.
