Albans, County of Selwyn.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to

WILLIAM FORD BEATSON, Esq.,
to be Town Clerk of the Borough of St. Albans, and
also Returning Officer to conduct the first elections
of Mayor, Councillors, and Auditors of the said
borough; also to appoint Wednesday, the 21st
December next, for the election of Mayor, and
Thursday, the 22nd December next, for the election
of Councillors, and Friday the 23rd December next,
for the election of Auditors of the said borough;
also to appoint Tuesday, the 3rd January next, at
noon, to be the time for the first meeting of the
Council of the said borough; and the Avon Road
Board Office to be the place for such first meeting.

to be Resident Magistrate for the District of Colling-
wood, with jurisdiction to £50, and to be a Warden
of all Wardens' Courts in the Golden Bay Mining
District, vice Frank Guinness, Esq., J.P., resigned;
also to appoint
HENRY WIRGMAN ROBINSON, Esq., R.M.,
to be a Resident Magistrate for the District of
Oamaru, with jurisdiction to £100, and to be Chair-
man of the Licensing Courts for the Districts of
Papakaio, Town of Oamaru, Kakanui, Maerewhenua,
Otepopo, Hampden, and Ahuriri, from the 12th
proximo, vice Isaac Newton Watt, Esq., J.P., re-
tired.
