THE EVENING AND WEEKLY MAIL COMPANY
(LIMITED).

In the matter of "The Limited Liability of Joint-
Stock Companies Dissolution Act, 1872," and of
the Evening and Weekly Mail Company (Limited).
I, COLIN MCKENZIE GORDON, Registrar of the
Supreme Court for the District of Otago and
Southland, do hereby notify that an affidavit, a
copy of which is hereunder, given by Alfred James
Samuel Headland, Chairman of the Evening and
Weekly Mail Company (Limited), has been lodged
in the Resident Magistrate's Court at Oamaru, and
forwarded to me; and that, unless notice of objection
be lodged with me within sixty days of this date, I
shall proceed to declare the said Company to be dis-
solved in manner provided by "The Limited Liability
Joint-Stock Companies Dissolution Act, 1872."

thousand eight hundred and eighty.

I, ALFRED JAMES SAMUEL HEADLAND, of Oamaru,
in the Provincial District of Otago and Colony
of New Zealand, Chairman of the Board of Directors
of the Evening and Weekly Mail Company (Limited),
incorporated under "The Joint-Stock Companies Act,
1860," do hereby make oath and say,-

  1. That the nominal capital of the said Company is
    one thousand five hundred pounds, in five hundred
    shares of three pounds each.
  2. That the shares have been fully paid up.
  3. That the Company has no assets, and has ceased
    to carry on its operations; and I do hereby apply for
    a declaration of dissolution of such Company.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership
lately subsisting between HENRY WILLIAM
MASON and CHARLES HOLMAN, under the style of
"Mason and Holman," of Lyell, Storekeepers, has
been dissolved, and that payment of all cheques,
bills, and other negotiable documents or instruments
purporting to be drawn by the said firm after this
date has been stopped.
And that no receipts for moneys due to the said
firm will hereafter be valid unless signed by me.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership (if
any) heretofore subsisting between us, the
undersigned JOHN MCVEY BAIRD and HENRY
25th September, 1880.

THOMSON, as Brewers, at the Suffolk Brewery,
Barbadoes Street, in the City of Christchurch, under
the style or firm of "Baird and Co," is this day
dissolved by mutual consent. All debts due and
owing to or by the said firm will be received and
paid by the said John McVey Baird, by whom the
business will in future be carried on as "Baird and
Co.," on his own account.

as Brickmakers, at St. Martins, Opawa, near Christ-

was, on the 30th day of September last, dissolved by
mutual consent.

A Tan extraordinary general meeting of the Share-
holders of the Colonial Clothing Manufacturing
Company (Limited), held at the registered office of
the Company on Friday, the 24th September, it was
resolved to wind up the Company voluntarily, and
that Mr. W. QUICK ROACH be appointed Liqui-
dator.

NOTICE is hereby given that, under the provisions
of "The Public Works Act, 1876," it is the
intention of the Road Board to take land for roads,
1 chain in width, through the following lands, i.e.,
Allotments Nos. 59, 64, 68, 69, 70, 80, 82, 83, 99.
Plan showing line of proposed roads is open for
inspection at the Public Hall, in charge of Mr. W.
Tunks.
And I hereby call on all persons affected to set
forth in writing any well-grounded objection to the
taking of such lands, and send the same to me at
the office of the Board within forty days of first
publication of this notice.
