I, George Wise, do solemnly and sincerely declare
that-
- I am the Manager of the said intended Com-
pany. - The above statement is, to the best of my belief
and knowledge, true in every particular; and I make
this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the
same to be true, and by virtue of an Act of the
General Assembly of New Zealand intituled "The
Justices of the Peace Act, 1866."

RICHMOND HILL MINING COMPANY (LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given that an Extraordinary
General Meeting of the Shareholders in the
above Company will be held at the Nelson Savings
Bank-room on Wednesday, the 3rd day of November
next, at half-past 7 o'clock in the evening, for the
purpose of confirming the following resolution,
passed unanimously at a meeting held on the 22nd
September ultimo, "That the Richmond Hill Mining
Company (Limited) be wound up voluntarily;" and,
if confirmed, for the appointment of a Liquidator.

PATENT for Machinery for Pulverizing Quartz,
Rocks, and Earths, for Sorting the Powder so
obtained, and for Treating it with Mercury, in order
to obtain the greatest yield of gold from the sand,
rocks, or earths with the least loss of mercury.
GEORGE ASHCROFT, of Petoni, Hutt, has deposited
at this office a specification of the said invention;
and I have appointed Friday, the 17th day of
December next, at 11 o'clock in the forenoon, at
this office, to hear the said application and all
objections thereto; and I require all persons having
an interest in opposing the grant of such Letters
Patent to leave, on or before the 13th day of De-
cember next, at this office, particulars in writing of
their objections to the said application, otherwise
they will be precluded from urging the same.
