In pursuance of this provision, stamps for stamping
playing-cards have been provided at Auckland,
Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin, and the Collec-
tors of Customs at those ports have been instructed
to stamp any duty-paid stocks of cards which may be
sent to them by dealers or others from any part of
the colony within a reasonable time after the date of
this notification.

Revoking Commissioner's Order No. 131, and
appointing Districts for collecting Duty under
"The Beer Duty Act, 1880."

CUSTOMS.-In exercise of the power in me for
this purpose vested by "The Beer Duty Act,
1880," I, the Commissioner of Customs, do hereby
revoke the Commissioner's Order No. 131, dated the
fifteenth day of September, one thousand eight
hundred and eighty, and by this order do hereby
appoint the under-mentioned districts for the purpose
of levying and collecting the duty imposed by the
said Act, viz., Auckland, Poverty Bay, Napier, Wel-
lington, Wanganui, New Plymouth, Picton, Nel-
son, Westport, Greymouth, Hokitika, Christchurch,
Timaru, Oamaru, Dunedin, and Invercargill, which
several districts shall comprise the boroughs and
counties specified opposite the name of each in the
second and third columns in the Schedule hereto.

And I do hereby appoint the Collector or principal
officer of Customs at the ports or places named in
the first column of the said Schedule to be Col-
lectors of the respective districts named therein, and
I do further appoint the Customhouses at the ports
or places named in the first column of the Schedule
hereto to be the places in the said several districts
at which the duties leviable under the said Act shall
be paid, received, and collected.

These regulations shall take effect from the
seventh day of October, 1880.

revoke the Commissioner's Order No. 132, dated the
fifteenth day of September, one thousand eight
