District, 527-9 links; on the South by Section No. 4,
Block II., of the Township of South Lumsden, 700-2
links; and on the West by a public road and by Sec-
tion No. 3, Block I., of aforesaid township, 900-5
links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as
the same is delineated on the official maps in the
Survey Office, Invercargill. For a cemetery.

All that parcel of land in the Southland division of
the Provincial District of Otago, containing by ad-
measurement 1 acre, more or less, being Sections Nos.
43 and 48, Block II., Otautau. Bounded towards the
North-east by Eton Street, 200 liuks; towards the
South-east by Sections Nos. 47 and 44, Block II.
aforesaid, 500 links; towards the South-west by Rye
Street, 200 links; and towards the North-west by
Sections Nos. 42 and 49, Block II. aforesaid, 500
links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as
the same is delineated on the official maps in the
Survey Office, Invercargill. As a site for a pound.

," and "The Public
Works Act, 1880
," I, James Prendergast, the
Administrator of the Government of the Colony of
New Zealand, do hereby authorize

SIDNEY WEETMAN, Esquire,
District Surveyor, of Kaipara, to take and lay down
roads over the land specified in the Schedule hereto,
and for that purpose to exercise all such powers as
by the said Act may be exercised by a person legally
authorized in that behalf under the said Act.

," I, James Pren-
dergast, the Administrator of the Government of
the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare that,
from and after the date hereof, the imported birds
known as sparrows and linnets may be taken or
killed in all or any of the provincial districts of the
said colony.
