Shag Valley Road, by an education reserve, by Coal Creek, and by Section No. 10, Block III., Highlay Survey District, to the Shag River; and thence towards the South-west and West by the right bank of the Shag River.

FLAT HILL SUBDIVISION.

Bounded towards the North by the Swinburn Survey District; towards the North-east by a right line forming the north-eastern boundary of the Waihemo Hundred, and by the Dunback Road District; thence towards the South by Sections Nos. 61, 19, 57, 5, 7, and 8, Block VII., Waihemo Survey District, to the Shag River; and thence towards the West by the right bank of the Shag River, and the Highlay Subdivision.

GREEN VALLEY SUBDIVISION.

Bounded towards the North by the Flat Hill Subdivision; towards the East by the Dunback Road District; and towards the South and West by the right bank of the Shag River.

Given under the hand of His Excellency James Prendergast, Esquire, Chief Justice, the Administrator of the Government of Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of September, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty.

Proclaiming Part of North Auckland Cattle District free from Disease.—Notice No. 76.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand has received the certificate required by the twenty-fifth section of “The Diseased Cattle Act, 1871” (hereinafter called “the said Act”), to the effect that Joseph Finnerty’s Swamp Paddock, Otahuhu Road, in the North Auckland Cattle District, is free from the disease called pleuropneumonia:

Now, therefore, the Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand aforesaid, by virtue and in exercise of the power conferred upon him by the above-mentioned section of the said Act, doth hereby proclaim and declare the said Joseph Finnerty’s Swamp Paddock, Otahuhu Road, in the North Auckland Cattle District, to be free from disease; and such place shall, from the eighteenth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and eighty, cease to be infected within the meaning of the said Act.

Given under the hand of His Excellency James Prendergast, Esquire, Chief Justice of the Colony of New Zealand, the Administrator of the Government of Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of September, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty.

Defining University Reserve in the Provincial District of Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by the third section of “The New Zealand University Reserves Act, 1880,” it is enacted that the block of four thousand acres of land at Waitotara, in the Provincial District of Wellington, referred to in the third section of “The New Zealand University Reserves Act, 1875,” shall be defined by Proclamation by the Governor within six months after the passing of the Act hereinbefore first mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, James Prendergast, Esquire, Chief Justice of the Colony of New Zealand, the Administrator of the Government of the said colony, in pursuance and exercise of the above-recited powers, do hereby define the above mentioned block of land, as follows.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that piece or parcel of land situate in Blocks I. and V., Nukumaru Survey District, in the Wellington Provincial District, containing by admeasurement 4,000 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the North by Block XIII., Momahaki Survey District, 14500 links; towards the East by other part of Block I., Nukumaru Survey District, and by the Waitotara River, 38600 links; towards the South-east by a Native Reserve, 11910 links; towards the South-west by a line, 3500 links; and towards the West by Sections Nos. 13 and 11, in Block IX., and by Block IV., Wairoa Survey District, 33073 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated upon the plan deposited in the District Survey Office, Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency James Prendergast, Esquire, Chief Justice, the Administrator of the Government of Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twentieth day of September, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty.

Wyndham Road District, County of Southland, divided into Subdivisions.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the ninth day of August, one thousand eight hundred and eighty, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twelfth day of August, one thousand eight hundred and eighty, the Wyndham Road District was divided into three subdivisions, and it is expedient to rescind such Proclamation and to make other provisions in lieu thereof:

Now, therefore, I, James Prendergast, Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by “The Otago Roads Ordinance, 1871,” and “The Abolition of Provinces Act, 1875,” do hereby revoke the said Proclamation, and do hereby proclaim that the Wyndham Road District shall be divided into three separate subdivisions, named respectively the Wyndham Township, Oware, and Redan Subdivisions, the boundaries whereof are
