is hereby subdivided accordingly from the date
hereof; and I do further proclaim that the number of
members to be elected for each such subdivision shall
be three, and that the members of the Road Board
now in office assigned to each such subdivision shall
be as follow:-
To the Wyndham Township Subdivision: John
Templeton.
To the Oware Subdivision: James Cushnie, John
Rae, and John Carey Strangman.
To the Redan Subdivision: James Milne and
Donald Stalker.

WYNDHAM TOWNSHIP SUBDIVISION.
BOUNDED towards the North by the Mataura River
and the Mimihau Stream to Section 5, Block I.;
towards the East and South-east by Sections 5, 18, 42,
32, and 23, of Block IV.; towards the South by said
Section 23; and towards the West by the Mataura
River.
OWARE SUBDIVISION.
Bounded towards the North by the Mimihau
Stream to a point due north of Trig. Station T,
Wyndham Survey District; towards the East by a
right line through said Trig. Station T to a point due
east of the northern boundary-line of Section 15,
Block III.; towards the South by a right line to
said northern boundary, by Sections 15 and 6 of said
Block III., by Sections 9 and 5, Block II.; again
towards the East by Sections 5 and 46, the Main
Centre Road, Sections 44 and 45, to a point due east
of the north-western corner of Section 34; thence
again towards the South by a right line to the said
corner, thence by the said Section 34 and the Redan
Road to the Oware Creek, and by said creek to the
Wyndham River; towards the South by said river
and Section 12, Block IV.; and towards the West
by the Mataura River and Wyndham Township
Subdivision, before described.
REDAN SUBDIVISION.
Bounded towards the North and North-west by
the Oware Subdivision, before described; towards the
East by Slopedown and Mokoreta Survey Districts;
and towards the South and South-west by the
Wyndham River.
Given under the hand of His Excellency James
Prendergast, Esquire, Chief Justice, the
Administrator of the Government of Her
Majesty's Colony of New Zealand; and
issued under the Seal of the said Colony,
at the Government House, at Wellington,
this twenty-first day of September, in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hun-
dred and eighty.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and
authorities conferred upon me by the twentieth
section of "The Land Act 1877 Amendment Act,
1879," I, James Prendergast, the Administrator of
the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, do
hereby set apart the lands enumerated in the
Schedule hereto for sale as a village settlement,
upon such terms and conditions as are set forth in
an Order in Council of even date herewith, and
made under the twenty-first section of the said Act.
Given under the hand of His Excellency James
Prendergast, Esquire, Chief Justice, the
Administrator of the Government of Her
Majesty's Colony of New Zealand; and
issued under the Seal of the said Colony,
at the Government House, at Wellington,
this twenty-third day of September, in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hun-

Terms and Conditions of Sale of the Okaiawa
Village Settlement.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
twenty-third day of September, 1880.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE
GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the twenty-first section of "The
Land Act 1877 Amendment Act, 1879," it is
enacted that the Governor in Council may fix the
terms and conditions upon which the lands comprised
in any village settlement shall be disposed of, and
the mode of payment for the same: And whereas
the Governor has, by Proclamation in the New Zea-
land Gazette, bearing date this twenty-third day of
September, set apart the lands enumerated in the
Schedules hereto for sale as a village settlement:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator
of the Government, in pursuance and exercise of the
powers and authorities conferred upon him by the
hereinbefore in part recited Act, and by and with the
advice of the Executive Council of the Colony of
New Zealand, doth hereby fix the following terms
and conditions upon which the said village settle-
ment shall be disposed of, and the mode of payment
for the same, that is to say,-
- The lands enumerated in the Schedules hereto
shall be disposed of as village allotments.
