All that piece or parcel of land containing by ad-
measurement 3 acres 1 rood 16 perches, more or less,
situated in the Parish of Tamahere, Survey District
of Hamilton, commencing at a point distant from the
north-westernmost corner of Section 71, 3336 links.
Bounded-Generally North-easterly by Section 71,
593, 527, 1090, and 1674 links respectively; Southerly
by a road, 101 links; generally South-westerly by
Section 71, 1634, 1040, 508, and 636 links respectively;
Northerly to commencing point by a road, 106 links
or thereabouts.

All that piece or parcel of land containing by ad-
measurement 5 acres and 2 perches, more or less,
situated in the Parish of Tamahere, Survey Dis-
trict of Hamilton, commencing at the southernmost
corner of Section 63. Bounded-North-easterly by
Section 63, 2590 links; Westerly by a road, 204
links; South-westerly by Section 59, 2481 links;
South-easterly to commencing point by a road, 210
links or thereabouts.

All that piece or parcel of land containing by ad-
measurement 30 acres 2 roods and 22 perches, more
or less, situated in the Parish of Tamahere, Survey
District of Hamilton, commencing at the southern-
most corner of Section 57. Bounded-Generally
North-easterly by Sections 57, 55, and 54, 10530,
1500, and 3130 links respectively; Northerly by a
road, 250 links; generally South-westerly by Sections
51, 52, 53, 55, 58, and 59, 3220, 1567, and 10590
links respectively; South-easterly to commencing
point by a road, 204 links or thereabouts.

All that piece or parcel of land containing by ad-
measurement 12 acres and 18 perches, more or less,
situated in the Parish of Tamahere, Survey District
of Komakorau, commencing at a point distant from
the southermost corner of Section 95 of the aforesaid
parish, 1133 links. Bounded-South-westerly by a
road, 102 links; generally Westerly by lines, 1312,
2230, 1094, 1076, 2782, 1411, 574, and 1581 links
respectively; Northerly by a road, 100 links; gene-
rally Easterly by lines, 1567, 559, 1446, 2785, 1096,
1138, 2248, and 1336 links respectively, to point of
commencement.

All the above parcels of land being situated in the
Provincial District of Auckland, and are more par-
ticularly delineated upon the plans hereto attached.

Authorizing the Mangawai District Highway Board
to build a Wharf in Mangawai Harbour.

HERCULES ROBINSON, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this
first day of September, 1880.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by the sixteenth, seventeenth, and
eighteenth sections of "The Harbours Act,
1878," it is enacted that the Governor in Council
may authorize any any person to construct harbour
works (other than the reclamation of land from the
sea or any harbour, or the construction of any
graving dock, dock, or breakwater in any harbour
or in the sea) in any harbour where no Harbour
Board is in existence:

And whereas the Mangawai District Highway
Board desire to build a wharf in Mangawai Harbour,
a harbour where no Harbour Board is in existence;
and it having been made to appear to the Governor
in Council that the said work will not be, or tend,
to the injury of navigation:

Now, therefore, the Governor of the Colony of
New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth
hereby authorize the said Mangawai District High-
way Board to build in Mangawai Harbour, for the
use and benefit of the public, a wharf in accordance
with the plan and specification marked M.D. 417, and
in the position shown on the plan marked M.D. 418,
which plans are deposited in the office of the Marine
Department, on the following conditions, that is to
say,-

That the right hereby conferred shall not exceed
the period of fourteen years.

That it shall be lawful for the said Mangawai
District Highway Board to levy wharfage on all
goods landed or shipped from the said wharf, in
accordance with the rates specified in the Schedule
hereto: Provided however that nothing herein con-
tained shall authorize the Board to charge with
wharfage-

Any stores or goods required for the use of
Her Majesty's naval or military forces, or for
any ship in the naval service of any foreign
Power:

Goods of or for the service of Her Majesty in
the colony:

Any goods under seizure by officers of revenue:

The baggage of any person in the service of Her
Majesty whilst travelling on duty.

The rights and powers conferred under or by this
Order in Council may be resumed at any time by the
Governor, on giving to the said Mangawai District
Highway Board six months' previous notice of his
intention so to do.

TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS SHALL COME,
GREETING:

WHEREAS by "The Regulation of Elections
Act, 1870," it is enacted that it shall be
lawful for the Governor, by warrant under his hand,
from time to time to appoint polling-places for each
electoral district within or within one mile of the
limits thereof, and to appoint any one of such polling-
places to be the principal polling-place for the district,
and all or any of such polling-places from time to
time to abolish, and, if he think fit, to appoint other
polling-places in lieu of those abolished, and that
every such warrant shall be published in the New
Zealand Gazette: Provided always that no polling-
place shall be appointed by the Governor under the
said Act unless he shall be first satisfied that the
place to be appointed is more convenient than any
other for at least twenty electors to record their
votes thereat;
