SCHEDULE.

ALL that piece or parcel of land containing by
admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 12 perches, more or
less, situate in the Survey District of Heretaunga,
being portion of Section No. 2 on the map of the
Papakura Crown Grant District. Bounded on the
North-west by a public road, 1000 links and 726
links, and by portion of the said Section No. 2, 805
links; on the North-east by Section No. 1 of said
district, 100 links; and on the South-east by other
portion of said Section No. 2, 2523 links, back to
the commencing point at corner of Section No. 4, in
the said district: be all the aforesaid linkages more
or less; and the same being delineated upon the map
attached to the memorial above referred to.

Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distin-
guished Order of Saint Michael and Saint
George, Governor and Commander-in-
Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony

"Regulation of Local Elections Act, 1876," brought
into force in the Tuturau Rabbit District, County
of Southland.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in
me by the seventh section of "The Rabbit
Nuisance Act 1876 Amendment Act, 1877," I,
Hercuies George Robert Robinson, the Governor of
the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and
declare that, from and after the day of the date
hereof, "The Regulation of Local Elections Act,
1876," shall come into force in the Tuturau Rabbit
District, as constituted by Order in Council of the
twenty-seventh day of July, one thousand eight
hundred and eighty.

And I do hereby further proclaim and declare that
the first election of Trustees of the said district shall
be held on the thirty-first day of August next, at
Humphries Hall, Mataura; and I appoint

JOHN HENRY PERKINS

to be Returning Officer to conduct the first election
of Trustees for the said district.

Constituting Tuturau Rabbit District, County of
Southland.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this
twenty-seventh day of July, 1880.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by "The Rabbit Nuisance Act 1876
Amendment Act, 1877," it is enacted that, in
addition to the power of proclaiming districts given
by the third section of "The Rabbit Nuisance Act,
1876," the Governor might from time to time, by
Order in Council, direct that any part of the colony
to be defined therein should be a rabbit district for
the purposes of "The Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1876:"

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of
the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said
colony, and in exercise of the powers vested in him
by the firstly hereinbefore recited Act, doth hereby
order and direct that that part of the colony described
in the Schedule hereto shall, from and after the date
hereof, be and the same is hereby constituted a
district for the purposes of "The Rabbit Nuisance
Act, 1876," and shall be named and known as the
Tuturau Rabbit District, and the boundaries of such
district shall be those defined in the Schedule hereto;
and, with the like advice and consent, His Excellency
doth hereby order that the first election of Trustees
for the said district shall be held on the thirty-first
day of August next, at Humphries Hall, Mataura.

SCHEDULE.

TUTURAU RABBIT DISTRICT.

ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of
Otago, bounded towards the North by the northern
side of the Southern Trunk Railway from the Mataura
River to the Waipahee River; thence towards the
East by that river and the Kaiwera River to its
western source; thence by a right line to the Mimi
Stream at the south-western corner of Run No. 132;
thence towards the South by that stream and the
Mimihau Stream to the Mataura River aforesaid; and
towards the West by that river to the Southern Trunk
Railway aforesaid: as the same is delineated on the
plan deposited in the Survey Office, Dunedin.

Extension of Time for Election of Auditors, Borough
of Queenstown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this
twenty-seventh day of July, 1880.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the burgesses of the Borough of
Queenstown failed to elect Auditors of the
said borough on the day appointed by "The Munici-
pal Corporations Act, 1876:" And whereas it is
expedient to extend the time for holding such
election:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of
the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers
vested in him by the said Act, and by and with the
advice of the Executive Council of the said colony,
doth hereby order that the time for holding the said
election of Auditors of the said Borough of Queens-
