ST. KILDA BOROUGH TRAMWAY.

In the matter of "The Tramways Act, 1872," and in
the matter of an application intended to be made
by DAVID PROUDFOOT, of Dunedin, Contractor,
for an order empowering him to make, construct,
and maintain, and to use and work, lines of
Tramway and other works in the Borough of
St. Kilda, under the provisions of the said Act.

NOTICE is hereby given that, at the expiration of
thirty days from the publication hereof, appli-
cation is intended to be made to His Excellency the
Governor of New Zealand for an order empowering
David Proudfoot, of the City of Dunedin, Contractor,
to make, construct, and maintain, and to use and
work, three lines of tramway, with necessary sidings,
and other works in connection therewith respectively,
within the Borough of St. Kilda; the said three lines
of tramway to be single lines, consisting of two steel
rails, laid at such a gauge as will admit of the use
upon such tramways of engines and carriages con-
structed for use upon a gauge of 3 feet 6 inches;
one of such lines to commence at a point in the said
Borough of St. Kilda, being the point of junction of
the Bay View Road with the Anderson's Bay Road,
and extending thence along the Bay View Road to
the St. Kilda Road, otherwise called the Prince
Albert Road, thence along the said last-mentioned
road to the Victoria Road; another of such lines to
commence at the junction of the Queen's Drive with
the Anderson's Bay Road, thence extending along
the Queen's Drive to the Victoria Road, thence
along the Victoria Road to the junction of that road
with the Prince Albert Road; and the third of such
lines to commence at the junction of the Bay View
Road with Prince Albert Road, and thence extending
along the Bay View Road to Moreau Street, thence
along that street to Given Street, and thence along
that street to the Victoria Road: and the said lines
of tramway to be so laid that there shall be a dis-
tance of 10 feet at least between the building-line
of each and every such street and the rail of the
tramway which is nearest to such building-line: And
also to make, construct, and maintain, and to use and
work, a double line of tramway, each line to consist
of two steel rails, laid at such a gauge as will admit
of the use thereon of engines and carriages con-
structed for use upon a gauge of 3 feet 6 inches,
in, through, over, and along that part of the street
or road called the Anderson's Bay Road, which is
situated in the said Borough of St. Kilda.

And notice is hereby further given that the said
three single lines and the said double line of tramway
are intended to be used both for goods and passenger
traffic; and that a copy of this advertisement and a
proper plan and section of the proposed works, and
all other documents required to be deposited under
the provisions of "The Tramways Act, 1872," will,
on or before the 23rd day of July next, be deposited
for public inspection in the office of the Registrar
at Dunedin of the Supreme Court of New Zealand,
Otago and Southland District; at the office of the
Borough Council of St. Kilda; and also at the office
in the City of Wellington of His Excellency the
Governor of New Zealand: and that printed copies
of the draft order, when deposited pursuant to part
three of the Third Schedule of "The Tramways Act,
1872," and of the order when made, will be deposited
at the offices of Messrs. Haggitt Brothers and Brent,
in High Street, Dunedin, the Solicitors for the said
David Proudfoot.

SOUTH DUNEDIN BOROUGH TRAMWAY.

In the matter of "The Tramways Act, 1872," and
in the matter of an application intended to be
made by DAVID PROUDFOOT, of Dunedin, Con-
tractor, for an order empowering him to make,
construct, and maintain, and to use and work,
Tramway and other works within the Borough of
South Dunedin, under the provisions of the said
Act.

NOTICE is hereby given that, at the expiration of
thirty days from the publication hereof, appli-
cation is intended to be made to His Excellency the
Governor of New Zealand for an order empowering
David Proudfoot, of the City of Dunedin, Contractor,
to make, construct, and maintain, and to use and
work, a line of tramway, with necessary sidings, and
other works in connection therewith, within the
Borough of South Dunedin; the said line of tramway
to be a single line, consisting of two steel rails, laid
at such a gauge as will admit of the use upon such
tramway of engines and carriages constructed for
use upon a gauge of 3 feet 6 inches; such line to
commence at a point in the Borough of South
Dunedin, being the point of junction of the Forbury
Road with the Cargill Road, and extending thence
along the Cargill Road to the St. Kilda Road or Main
Road, and thence along the said last-mentioned road
to the boundary of the borough: and the said line
of tramway to be so laid that there shall be a distance
of 10 feet at the least between the building-line of
every such street and the rail of the tramway which
is nearest to such building-line.

And notice is hereby further given that the said
line of tramway is intended to be used both for
goods and passenger traffic; and that a copy of this
advertisement and a proper plan and section of the

the matter of an application intended to be made
by DAVID PROUDFOOT, of Dunedin, Contractor, for
an order empowering him to make, construct, and
maintain, and to use and work, lines of Tramway
and other works within the Borough of Caversham,
under the provisions of the said Act.

NOTICE is hereby given that, at the expiration of
thirty days from the publication hereof, applica-
tion is intended to be made to His Excellency the
Governor of New Zealand for an order empowering
David Proudfoot, of the City of Dunedin, Contractor,
to make, construct, and maintain, and to use and
work, in, through, over, and upon that part of the
Hillside Road, in the Borough of Caversham, specified
and described in the first part of the First Schedule
hereto, a double line of tramway, each line to consist
of two rails of iron or steel, laid at such a gauge as
