TO GEORGE DUKE, of Dunedin, in the Colony of
New Zealand, Bootmaker, and NATHANIEL D.
HERMAN, late of Dunedin aforesaid, but now of
Melbourne, in the Colony of Victoria, Clothing
Manufacturer.
WHEREAS an action is now pending in our
Supreme Court of New Zealand, Otago and
Southland District, between MATTHEW GAWTHORP
HEELES, of Dunedin, in the Provincial District of
Otago, in the Colony of New Zealand, Merchant,
Plaintiff, and JOHN BONHAM, formerly of Dunedin
aforesaid, but now of Sydney, in the Colony of New
South Wales, and of parts beyond the seas, Defen-
dant; and, in order that the Plaintiff may proceed in
said action, we command you that you and each of
you do retain and keep all moneys or negotiable
securities for money, bills of exchange, promissory
notes, cheques, drafts, letters of credit, or orders for
the payment of money, and all bonds, mortgages,
bills of sale, powers of attorney, or any other deed of
alike nature, and all other real and personal property
of whatsoever nature in your custody or under your
control at the time of the service of this writ belong-
ing to the Defendant in this action, or to which he is
legally or equitably entitled or otherwise beneficially
interested, whether solely or jointly, with any other
person or persons, and all debts of every kind due
by you and each of you to the said Defendant,
although the same or any part thereof may be
payable at a future day.

THE RICHMOND HILL MINING COMPANY
(LIMITED), IN LIQUIDATION.

In the Supreme Court of New Zealand. In the
matter of "The Joint-Stock Companies Act, 1860,"
and in the matter of the Richmond Hill Mining
Company (Limited).
NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the
winding-up of the above-named Company by
the Supreme Court was, on the sixth day of July,
1880, presented to the said Court by Charles Dudley
Robert Ward, Esquire, of Timaru, District Court
Judge, a contributory of the said Company, and that
the said petition is directed to be heard before the
said Court at the City of Wellington on the twentieth
day of July, 1880, and any creditor or contributory
of the said Company desirous to oppose the making
of an order for the winding-up of the said Company
under the above Act should appear at the time of
hearing by himself or his counsel for that purpose;
and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any
creditor or contributory of the said Company requir-
ing the same by the undersigned or their agents,
Messrs Fell and Atkinson, of Nelson, Solicitors, on
payment of the regulated charge for the same.

I, ALFRED CHEVALLIER PRESTON, Mem-
ber of the Royal College of Surgeons of Eng-
land, and Licentiate of the Royal College of Physi-
cians of Edinburgh, now residing at Amberley,
hereby give notice that I have this day deposited my
diplomas with the Registrar of the Christchurch
District, and that I intend to apply to be registered
under the New Zealand Medical Act in one month
from date hereof.
