to the mouth of the Waihora River; thence towards
the West by the Registration Districts of Te Awa-
mutu, Cambridge, and Hamilton, to the summit of
Te Aroha Mountain; thence by a straight line to the
starting point at the south head of Whangamata.
THAMES DISTRICT.
Bounded towards the North by the Coromandel
District; towards the North-east and North-west by
the Mercury Bay District to the sea; towards the
East by the sea to the south head of Whangamata
Harbour; thence towards the South-east by a right
line in the direction of the summit of Te Aroha
Mountain to its intersection by the line of the northern
boundary of Te Aroha Block; thence by the northern
boundary of said block, and by a straight line from
the western boundary of the said block, to Tahuna-
tapu on the Piako River, on a line drawn from the
summit of Te Aroha Mountain to Putakanere on
the Waikato River; towards the West by the Piako
River to its mouth, and by the Frith of Thames to
the mouth of the Waikawau Creek.
RAGLAN DISTRICT.
Bounded on the North by the southern shore of
the Wangape Lake and by a straight line running
west-south-west from the western angle of the
Wangape Lake to the West Coast; on the West by
the sea southward to Kawhia Harbour; on the South
by Kawhia Harbour to the mouth of the Kauri
Creek; thence on the South-east by a straight line
to the summit of Pirongia; thence by the western
boundary of the Parish of Pirongia to Te Rehi Range,
on the southern boundary of Hamilton District,
where the Native track crosses said range; thence by
a line to the summit of the Tera Ranges, and by the
watershed of the said Tera and Kakarimata Ranges
to the northernmost end; thence by a straight line
to the southern shore of Wangape Lake, the point of
commencement.
WAIROA DISTRICT.
Bounded towards the North by part of the south-
western boundary of the Tauranga District, and the
southern boundary of the Opotiki District; towards
the North-east by the western and southern boun-
daries of the Turanga District, and by high-water
mark of the sea to Table Cape; towards the South by
high-water mark of the sea from Table Cape aforesaid
to the Waikare River; thence by said river to its
source, and by a right line thence to the parallel of
latitude 39Β°; thence by the said parallel of latitude
to the Upper Waikato River; and towards the West
by the Upper Waikato River aforesaid to the
southern margin of Lake Taupo; thence by part of
the southern and the whole of the eastern margins of
Lake Taupo to the south-western boundary of the
Tauranga District, herein first mentioned.
And I hereby declare that this Proclamation shall
come into operation and take effect on the first day
of September, in the year of our Lord one thou-
sand eight hundred and seventy-nine.

Vaccination Districts constituted.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in
me by "The Public Health Act, 1876," I, Sir
Hercules George Robert Robinson, the Governor of
the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and
declare that the boundaries of the Coromandel,
Shortland, Cambridge, Alexandra, Tauranga, Raglan,
and Mohaka and Wairoa Districts, constituted as
vaccination districts under "The Public Health Act,
1872, shall be and the same are hereby altered; and
do hereby proclaim and declare that the territory
therein comprised shall be divided anew into nine
vaccination districts, the names whereof shall be
the Coromandel, Mercury Bay, Thames, Hamilton,
Cambridge, Te Awamutu, Tauranga, Raglan, and
Wairoa Districts; that the boundaries of the
Coromandel and Mercury Bay Districts shall
be coterminous with the boundaries of districts
bearing the same names as are set forth in a
Proclamation bearing date the twenty-first day
of June, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-
six, made under the provisions of "The Registration
of Births and Deaths Act, 1875;" and that the
boundaries of the Thames, Hamilton, Cambridge,
Te Awamutu, Tauranga, Raglan, and Wairoa
Districts shall be coterminous with the boun-
daries of districts bearing the same names as are
set forth in a Proclamation of even date herewith,
made under the provisions of "The Marriage Act
Amendment Act, 1858;" and I hereby declare that
this Proclamation shall come into operation and take
effect on the first day of September, one thousand
eight hundred and seventy-nine.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and
authority vested in me by "The Registration of
Births and Deaths Act, 1875," I, Sir Hercules
George Robert Robinson, the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much
of former Proclamations, duly made and issued in
pursuance of the said power and authority, as relate
to the under-mentioned districts, constituted for the
purposes of the said Act, the boundaries whereof
were therein set forth, viz: The Cambridge, Alexan-
dra, Tauranga, Thames, Raglan, and Mohaka and
Wairoa Districts; and do proclaim and declare that
the territories formerly comprised within the said
districts shall be and the same are hereby divided for
the purpose of the said Act into seven districts, the
names whereof shall be the Hamilton, Cambridge,
